That's criminally cheap for Doom. It's a fantastic game. Other than the platforming, it really does give you the feel of the original games.

£7.99 for the game, and then £50 for the extra HD you need to install it.

I think Doom and the latest GoW are tied for the most ridiculous install sizes.

Bigger than GTA V? That's a hefty game, along with Forza Horizon 3! Both eat up so much of the SSD with my games on it.

FH3 is 'only' about 60 or so isn't it? Doom is over 100 by now, has to be. Didn't think GTAV got anywhere near that either.

Blimey! That is insane! I thought FH3 and GTAV being around the 60-70GB mark was a lot :p I can kinda understand on open world games where there's an absolute ton of textures but I'm genuinely surprised Doom is 100GB haha

DOOM over 100? It's 76.6gb on mine. Has there been new DLC added to the DL?

P.S. I'd listed DOOM on gog forums & someone replied...

"you can purchase something there, but they'll only give you the key after you have given them your phone number "to authenticate you". (throwaway phone numbers are rejected)

Guess they'll sell your private data, seems at least shady. gog and steam and every other store can sell me keys without needing my phone number...

Edit: oh and they won't tell you the phone number thing before purchase no only after they have your money they take your purchased key hostage and give it to you only after you have given out your private data..."

Very suspicious if right.

I've used them about 20 times, no issue, i don't have an account and pay through PayPal.

I'm guessing that you didn't read the fast delivery in five easy steps section under the product information tab.

They send a 4 digit verification code by SMS which could be akin to 2FA and would only be used for that purpose.

It's pretty much the same when you purchase anything through the humble store.

Oh, I didn't realise Doom was only 76gb. I'm sure I uninstalled it months ago due to some MP patch pushing it close to 100. Regardless, it's still a ridiculous amount of space to take up; however pretty it is.

Nah, I only had a quick glance as I already have the game. Oopsies!

Dirt Rally + INSIDE at that price.. One of the bargains of the year.

Wow, that is a bargain. I was planning to buy Inside for about £9 with a steam voucher I received, I'm not that bothered about Dirt Rally but may as well get included for about the same price, plus whatever else they chuck in.
