Don't worry, it's supposed to be utter, utter tosh from the reviews.
Bought it at release and I actually quite liked it, I didn't to start with and it certainly has its flaws, but the further through I got the more I enjoyed it.
A metacritic score of 66 obviously isn't great but utter tosh might be a bit of an exaggeration. Steam reviews are mixed but recent reviews mostly positive. I'd say it's well worth trying for free.
I'm really tempted by this bundle. It looks great value for money, even though I own Dirt Rally already. Not sure I'd use the Dirt4 and F1 2017 discounts though. I'd mainly want it for F1 16 and Grid2.
