Peanut Butter: Smooth or Crunchy?

Smooth with marmite lol

The sugar part is just how it's done but think they don't understand half the lovers hate sugar in it.

Crunchy, got to be.

Although that applies for almost everything for me.

Orange juice needs bits.
Soup needs chunks of meat and veg.
Ice cream should have bits of chocolate, nuts etc.
Even mashed potatoes I like to make it onions mixed in.

I agree something has to be in it to notice it other wise you'll be asking where the taste it.

Soup part sounds more like stew :D

It can have an entire leg of lamb in, I'd still eat the soup :p

I think one of the pleasures of food is the texture and the contrast of textures. Hence smooth ice cream with nuts or chunks of chocolate works so well.

When I make peanut butter milkshakes, I make sure it's not blitz too much so I still got bits to bite on.

After giving the subject much thought, weighing up all the pros and cons of each, I have come to the final conclusion that I don't really give a toss.

They are all superb on toasted tiger bread.

Crunchy unless Im cookign with it.
And I'm addicted to the peanut butter from the protein stores and the likes now :(
