Peanut Butter: Smooth or Crunchy?

Sounds good apart from the oats, following paleo/primal type diet. Seen one recipe using that but almond meal instead of oats.

Ah ok - I sort of understand why, but at the same time I find it too restrictive but you do have to use your imagination which does make it more fun.

Instead of oats you could use a mixture of nuts - or wild rice (botanically it is a plant so should be fine for paelo).

Been on it since ~feb, apart from the last 4 weeks(fin ished the 50k challenge and hit the takeaway pretty solidly for 4 weeks, put a load of weight back on and feel crap, back eating sensiably now) and summer wasnt great, with weddings and birthdays and partys. Im still tweaking it, still not eating enough seafood or offal and still want to cut my dairy down. As im having dairy most days.

I have friends who follow paelo diets who use it for bulking and they've put on a huge amount of weight (on purpose).

It's a good diet for cutting out processed foods from our poor modern diets - however, I'm more of a fan of "everything in moderation" - however I'm in fortuitous position to be able to exercise a lot, and studied how my body reacts to nutrition which I have also studied. However, everyone is different and reacts differently to different foods etc...

Good luck with it - it's certainly a challenge. However, I enjoy my carbs too much and like my calories! :D

I was adventurious last night and made ham, cheese and peanut butter toasties. Crunchy of course.

I shall try that again sometime, it was lush.

Chop up some chicken breast and fry it off, then stick some crunchy peanut butter in a bowl and heat it in the microwave quickly just to soften it up, add in some nandos hot sauce then throw your chicken in a give it a good stir.
Yum!

Make it intoo satay.

Lemon juice, chilli, water (or coconut mile + water) creamed coconut, soy sauce and/or fish sauce, peanut butter. Such a fast cheats way to nake satay and amazing, can add chilli, ginger or whatever to it.

Thanks, im not so good on the moderation thing, find it much easier to moderate on such a diet. Sugar/carbs for more than 24hrs give me cravings that i just dont have the will power for.
Have tried the conventional eating of high carb low, fat and that just made me incrediably tiered and week.

Yeah I haven't got a sweet tooth so I can pass over a sweet treat - but savoury is my killer, I just like eating too much! Means I have to hit the gym harder! :D

High carb low fat is pointless anyway so I'm glad you moved away from it! ;)

This question shouldn't even need to be asked. The answer is clearly crunchy.

Obviously on toast, sometimes with jam too. Only time I have it in a sandwich is with sliced banana. Lately I've developed the habit of just eating it straight out the jar with a spoon
