Peanut Butter: Smooth or Crunchy?

Yeah im using biona stuff at the moment, which is expensive and its always solid, will have to melt it, wonder what will happen, then again hollandaise works which is butter and that starts as solid. Think that will be tomorrows experiment.
Also need to figure ouut some sort of high protine, high fat, medium carb energy bar recipe thing folr hiking.

After looking through this thread I have come to the conclusion that I need to try peanut butter. Don't think I've had it since I was a toddler.

Whey protein flapjacks, with coconut oil, and add some nuts in it. High fat, decent carbs, and lots of protein?

crunchy, if i havent got some from bulk powders then i use whole earth or if I have time i make my own. so easy to do!

I could go a couple now!

Sounds good apart from the oats, following paleo/primal type diet. Seen one recipe using that but almond meal instead of oats.
You still starting this diet? I've been 'skirting around the edges' of it.

maccapacca has been on it a while too.

Been on it since ~feb, apart from the last 4 weeks(fin ished the 50k challenge and hit the takeaway pretty solidly for 4 weeks, put a load of weight back on and feel crap, back eating sensiably now) and summer wasnt great, with weddings and birthdays and partys. Im still tweaking it, still not eating enough seafood or offal and still want to cut my dairy down. As im having dairy most days.

I've only sort of tried it, I like my porridge with milk ;) though found it ok.

Certainly lost weight with it, a good 3/4 stone in a short space. Now just looking to build upon a healthy sustained diet :)

Tempted to get some of these peanut butter or that Hazelnut chocolate butter for work, a table spoon in every porridge portion to flavour it for breakfast. Save some money and healthy.

Yeah it certianly cuts weight, i also feel good on it, look better (had a ton of comments which is nice, dont sleep halve as much durying the day, more energy etc) i think mainly as its pretty strict, which means you cant just go to the shop and buy snacks.
I just find it hard as I get very lazy and takeaways do not follow it about the closest is kebab wthout the bread, but even thats not clean meat and no real idea whats in it.
Whish there was suitable takeaway.

It works for me, so im carrying on.

Buy soup, and salad....easy to cook (or heat up). It's better than take away.

Damn that sounds good! Got a link matey? :)

Looks like I've been beaten to it :p
If you order a tub be carefull, once it's open its VERY easy just to dip a spoon in when yer passing it in the cupboard :p

Omg thank you, thats so much cheaper than the almond butter ive been buying.
And lots of different nuts. As above pistachio!!!!!!!

The nuts arent bad price either.
I really need to start making more stuff from scratch. Just need a lace for cheap virgin coconut oil now.

I get Biona coconut oil from Tesco, think it was about £8 for 450g

If yer ordering from proteinworks similar to Freefallers code (the ninja beat me to it lol) WL17931 will get you 250g of preimum protein (choose flavour) may as well try a recipe from http://www.proteinpow.com/ :) Input code when you sign up.

Personally I prefer the Peanut butter from MyProtein, made some crazy good cupcakes with it.

Glaucus I think proteinpow has some paleo recipes on it too, worth a looksee :)

Eally should just bulk cook more ribs, pork npbelly and other awesome cuts and freeze them ready to eat. Salad doesnt have that fatty takeaway kick. I nliek salad and have it for ~half my lunches. Salad or omelete is my norm.
