Pentagon releases UFO footage

I love how the UFO nuts focus on the US military, there's literally millions of commercial flight hours being racked up and not a single verifiable piece of alien UFO evidence.

You realize all this guff started during the cold war, when the US was trying to keep their military aircraft secret. The use of UFOs was started as a diversion, 70+ years later basement dwellers still believe it.

I always wonder why UFO believers are so obsessed by it. I think people hate to be wrong, it's almost as if you're personally insulting them.

By the way, one of my favourite movies is Contact but I'm not myopic enough to think it's real.

Contact is fantastic, one of my fave sci-fi movies, I've also been to the VLA (very large array) in New Mexico a while back, you can go and walk around there.

Another one of my faves is "NOPE" by Jordan Peele, I actually think the rendition of UFO in this movie, is a brilliant unique take on a flying saucer, if you've not seen it - don't watch any trailers, just watch the movie :)

However there is plenty of evidence of UFO/UAP evidence, it just hasn't been identified yet.

Posters like Pottsey are in the Earth UFO territory where he believes there are still military craft being kept secret (and why not?)where people like robgmun are in the alien territory (well he is on post 2707).

I've just never seen anything to convince me of either.

Let's be honest, the whole thread is about aliens, the UFO nuts try and link explainable sightings to aliens, it gives legitimacy.

The drake equation doesn't equal aliens visiting us, unless I'm getting probed right now to keep me awake, I can believe that.

There's somebody on here who will argue that nobody can take decent pictures in the sky from far away but you definitely can.
It's cloudy now and a plane has just passed over above the clouds according to Flight Radar but I reckon I can take a picture of a normal passenger plane that you can easily identify as a passenger plane.
I was doing it in Spain last year and boasting to my Brother in Law who wasn't impressed.

Let's play this through for a minute, let's say that what's talked about by AJ above is accurate and the intelligence community between nations want to keep a certain amount of control over this sort of thing. What's the MO here? Why are the US military and CIA going to such lengths to keep assets like Rosemary on their payroll, why did they try for so long to get Colin Andrews onboard?
