seriously, give over. there's been at least 2 full explanations by other, less obtuse, posters detailing what he's going on about. at this point it's just you playing dumb so you can keep pestering him to post it in his own words, presumably so you can have some sort of win, because you most certainly aren't stupid enough not to have a good idea what he's banging on about without him spelling it out for you.

you're starting to embarrass yourself now. if you're getting your jollies out of pestering someone for a confession when they clearly have issues that says a whole lot more about you than them. as someone else already posted, it's akin to picking on the simple kid at school, you're trying to force him to admit something you already know without needing his admission.
It's quite clear to me that skipper has issues/learning difficulties and that just haranguing him is tantamount to abuse.

i'd not say it's abuse but it's certainly not a good look for the person doing the 'harassing' and not a great look in general for the forum or the mods.
I said it was tantamount, i.e. 'very similar', or 'almost'.

no, not because you don't believe the truth. is pretty obvious from the structure/spelling/grammar of your posts (among other things) you have some other underlying issue.
that's not what tantamount means. it means equal/equivalent to or practically the same. that said, maybe it is indeed abuse.

So US officials, military higher ups and now pilots who actually saw it all saying that there was no signs of propulsion so no idea how this object managed to stay in the air etc.
I doubt we will ever find out even if they do recover and rebuild.

It could still technically be a balloon or balloons inside a container, I'm more interested in what it was doing rather than what it is

Seems to be these objects were known or detected for some time and only since unfiltering the air monitoring systems that they decided these were fair game to be downed.

I totally resent that remark, absolutely 100% that has not happened.
I learned (learnt) a very long time ago on here never to correct peoples grammar or spelling, as far as I know @skipper847 might not be English.
Once again @skipper847 , TheKwango and Lysander think you have learning difficulties, I don't, if you have I apologise.
At least one of the last ones they shot down was not a balloon, as mentioned previous and links posted, they saw it to be "octagonal" in shape, what kind of balloon is octagonal? It could still be something from China/Russia though sure, and most likely. But what remains a mystery is how they were being flown if there was no sign of propulsion.
Technologically we are on the brink of new age discoveries, ideas that were theorised by the great minds of the early 1900s have been proven correct by modern technology, and more is to come I have no doubt, could China have cracked one such technology and released various devices around the world with different types of propulsion to see what is most effective against foreign military detection? Entirely likely.
If that is along the right tracks then no wonder the US gov are being super cagey. How do you tell your citizens that a foreign power has exotic propulsion that defies what you have access to?!
