** Peripheral Showcase **

The normal metal Ghost version will have TMR too soon, GameSir has a symmetrical controller out this month with TMR and EasySMX are releasing one too.

I really like the limited edition though, has a cool aesthetic.

Oh cool. I was tempted by that T4 Cyclone Pro but never bit the bullet.
My biggest frustration with the PS5 pad is the appalling battery life. Other than that, great. I don't think I actually have a preference between symmetrical or non-symmetrical anymore.

I think that rusty metal controller would grow on me TBH.

I've put off buying a mouse for the longest time. I've got my razor Naga which I use for quite a lot of stuff, but it would be nice to have a better mouse for the occasional FPS, etc. I still use my legendary Logitech.

Logitech MX518!! Absolutely fantastic mouse, I had one back in the day and it was so nice to use! I ended up "upgrading" to a R.A.T. 7 but I think the old Logi mouse is one of the nicest I ever owned!

For the last 3 weeks I've been using the Vaxee XE-S mouse, upgrading/changing from my G Pro Superlight (v1) that I've used for the last 4 years and it's been such a great change. The XE-S is a little lighter (60g vs 63g on the GPX) but the shape is great, m1 and m2 are so responsive and the side buttons are significantly less mushy than the GPX.

I'm running it in 2k hz polling mode - it does offer 1k,2k and 4k as options but I found that 4k didn't feel noticeably different to 2k - but drained the battery a lot quicker. I found that 2k was a noticeable improvement over 1k for how responsive it felt.

At the same, I also picked up one of Artisan's orange Zero pads in Soft (XXL) to replace the Hayate Otsu I've used for the last 18 months. Honestly, Artisan pads are unbeatable. The feel of this pad moving the mouse across is so smooth, great for control when tracking in fps games, gives me enough speed and stopping power as well. Super happy with both currently!

Ducky One 3 pro Nazca Line, rather awesome board have to say and the 8k polling is measurable too:

Mouse is still the DAv3 HS and using the stock 1k polling dongle not the hyperpolling one as haven't found a reason to need more than 1k on this mouse.

The Ducky macro features on this board are excellent, have mapped the calculator button (top right) to be WINKEY+NUM+ which is screen zoom as I use that al lot for pixel peeping.

Love it! And I absolutely agree with regards to the mouse pad, I have the same but in black. Might have to grab one in orange now though, had no idea they did one in that colour, haven't looked for some time!

That's a very nice looking keyboard!

Is that the aw34 I see back in action or is it the camera angle?

Finalmouse mice collection

Wow, this takes me back…

When devoting my life to Counterstrike, my favourite player Scream ended up in Partnership with Finalmouse.

I ended up with their original Ergo in 2016.

Seems they do limited drops now? Causing high demand, high prices etc.

DeathAdder V3 Hyperspeed to replace the Burst Air II. I liked the BAII for sure but the FOMO of the ergo and everyone online raving about this new V3 made me switch, and glad I did because this coating is amazing to touch. The only gripe is that the stock skates are crap. I've applied ghost glide dots on instead and much much better. No idea why Razer skimped out on quality skates with this.

Have you stuck with the Deathadder V3 Hyperspeed?

This looks to be the perfect mouse for me and I will be ordering one.

Recently picked up a Glorious D2 Pro - Im not sure if the shape is slightly too big for me, I don’t feel 100% comfortable at times.

Main issue is that despite a clean mousepad, the sensor is spinning out occasionally which I have never had on any other mice, after reading online it seems I’m not the only one having this issue.

Overall quality is solid, sturdy creak free just plagued with a very occasional but unacceptable sensor/wireless issue which is a shame.

Yeah I only saw they had an orange option recently! I've used a Hayate Otsu from Artisan for the last 18 months so hadn't been on the site outside of looking at the new Type99 they released in the summer.

Seems like they're doing a few more colour options now rather than just red or black.

The Zero is such a great pad tbf, I was surprised at how much smoother it felt compared to the Hayate Otsu.

I have yes, I've given away the others or returned them! The V3 HyperSpeed has been amazing, so light and feels so good especially the size vs the larger V3 Pro which is too big.

My only qualm is the feet on the HyperSpeed have too much friction so I took them off and replaced them with Ghost Dot Glides which are superior:

Battery life is excellent, ergo comfort is excellent, the Synapse software doesn't need to be running in the BG, so I only ruin it once a month to check for updates.

Yes that's right, all are limited apart from 2 ULX options which drop every few mo the or so I believe.

So weird you saying Scream is your favourite player, he's mine too and I've actually got his live stream playing rn in the background :D as I still like to keep myself in the games even though I rarely play these days lol.

I'd love to obtain his Finalmouse to add to my collection. He has mentioned there may be a possibility for another Finalmouse collab but who knows.

During recent years I have overlooked DA's, initially after seeing "Hyperspeed" I thought it was just a cheaper, cut down version of the DAV3 Pro with a AA Battery. I'm surprised Razer haven't released multiple sized Deathadder Mice, even now it's not exactly named DAV3 Medium, or Mini as I'm sure they would sell like hot cakes!

I have one arriving tomorrow, it feels like Christmas as I cannot wait to get my hands on it :D

One thing I noticed with the Glorious D Pro V2 was how effortlessly and smoothly it glided across my mousepad, the mouse feet/skates were wonderful compared to my Logitech G Pro.

I will get comfortable with the mouse and see how I get on, if my findings are the same as yours then it may be that I go to the effort of changing them.

I was obsessed with Scream in the CSGO Scene - I ended up using his Crosshair, CSGO Settings and even Sensitivity (Surprisingly it suited how I played) I never ended up with Scream's Version of the Final Mouse but he was very much influencing the brand when I decided to try out their first mouse.

In those style of games, his play style in Matchmaking is very satisfying :D

Excuse my ignorance, but interesting approach Finalmouse are using as you would think having their mice available at all times would be better for business!

Yup it's a bit weird naming it the Hyperspeed when previously Hyperspeed was for the cheaper cut down version whereas this is basically the same as the top DA V3 just smaller and a couple of features that are mostly unused anyway. You do need to pay £50 extra for the hyperpolling dongle if you want over 1k polling, but as mentioned I'd seen no need to do that so am more than happy with this as it is.

Yeah imo he's still the goat, his aim and movement just elicits a natural flow that's a joy to watch.

You're right regarding Finalmouse approach with their mice, and to think they sell out within minutes of release (sometimes less depending on the hype) and THEN they start making them... you don't even receive delivery of the mouse for like 3 months.

I'm currently using a G303 shroud edition, but one of my fav mice is the g pro superlight, but the middle scroll wheel started screwing around. Tempted to grab a superlight 2... maybe a xmas present to myself lol.

Got this controller as @mrk bigged it up. Seems decent for the price, minor niggle like the back doesn't match the front but then as with all these things, I remind myself I don't spend time looking at the controller when I'm playing games.
Need to do more testing but it auto turned off when I was playing a game and the game didn't recognize it once it was back on, could have been a number of things tbh, easy enough to replicate. Turned vibration down to 75% as felt full was far too strong. I am using it on BT as I don't have spare front USB ports and not sure how it fares with the wireless dongle in the back.
Ordered the PB Defender on Sept 22nd, looking forward to that arriving.

It is a good controller, there is a firmware update if you haven't done that yet, unless yours comes with the latest already.

The Defender is obviously the better controller, but it is TMR sticks and better built so should well be. I use the Defender for everything, the metal stick tops may be slippery for some fingers but I just use grip tape circles from the Supergrip pack I got for my mice and that sorted that nicely. Currently being used exclusively for Switch Emulation and God of War Ragnarok

It is a heavy controller though, so probably not for weaklings

Thanks, just did the update, not sure if would say if it was already on the firmware or not but assume it wouldn't be. Good shout on the grip tape too, look forward to it arriving one day.. I like a bit of weight in a controller.
