** Peripheral Showcase **

It’s tough to workout from the pictures and also @mrk legendary massive hands - but it looks like a tiny controller.

Have you got a PS5 controller to hold it against for scale? Or failing that, a banana?

PS5? Spits....

It's about the same size as an XBOX controller for reference, but more comfortable in the hands as more ergonomic in shape. Here it is next to an MX Master 3 for ref:

What does it mean about joystick mode 'circular' or 'normal', I've switched between, and yes they feel different but I can't tell you why lol.

It's the fake circularity filter many brands apply to a contorller which restricts the outer zone to a full circle which means you actually lose stick range at the corners. I mention it in my review of the X05 here:

It's basically RAW stick mode which disables the filter so you can see the actual sensor square when testing on gamepadtester website, an accuracy of around 10% is expected for a well calibrate stick in RAW mode, it will be like 0.2% in the fake circle mode. The PB Tails controller only comes with RAW mode as TMRs are so accurate out the box anyway and don't need to be fake circles.

Is it here yet :D

The detailing really is excellent on it.

You know full well it isn't you little rascal you.

I was surprised that the one with the blank buttons was sold out but not the other one.
Not actually sure on their ETA. I didn't look into it but tomorrow will be 2 weeks of it not being shipped.

@mrk

The DAV3 Hyperspeed (V3) arrived and I have been using it for just under a week now…

The mouse itself is excellent, the coating is lovely smooth yet almost has a rubbery feel to it, super lightweight and as you mentioned the battery life is ridiculously good.

I have 19x9CM Hands and use a Palm Grip - I can’t decide if it feels a little small for my grip style.

I’m tempted to try a DAV3 Pro a go since I can see it’s discounted to £109.

Not sure what it is, but my Sniping is just less accurate as I’m not sure if the smaller size makes me a little jittery in Ergo form. Thoughts are that the larger size will feel more secure and steady for me in those situations, very much undecided.

It will likely be down to your grip style I guess and because a week isn't really enough time to adjust to something like this if you're used to a slightly large size mouse - Some muscle memory and getting used to the new feel would be necessary I guess. Can always try and return the Pro if it ends up being too big etc. For my mixed grip style the VS HS is near enough the perfect ergo!

At least your one will be numbered :p Mine is a sample unit so is not numbered.

100% - Haven’t given it enough time but when moving from a G Pro to the Glorious D Pro V2 I instantly felt an improvement, consistency and ease of aiming, I have been playing lots of BF2042 and as a benchmark had a vast improvement whilst sniping, hitting some unbelievable shots compared to when I was using a G Pro.

Sadly, Battery Life was awful (At 1000HZ) and the Sensor would spin out 1/2 times per gaming session which is unacceptable!

I’m sticking with the Hyperspeed as I do think once fully familiar with it, it could be the perfect mouse for me as it is very comfortable.

I just keep hovering over the Pro V3 to rule out the size preference between the 2 :cry:

Edit: Thinking the Larger Size and slightly increased Weight will add some stability to my aim which has become a little shaky moving to a smaller mouse (But this is most likely due to the dramatic change in size)

That looks absolutely horrendous.

PS. Saw your Reddit post about your right stick on the Defender. If you've 'made' me buy a lemon..

It looks fantastic, like OG PS dual shock but better.

I think it's my one that has developed the issue hence seeing if anyone has seen the same lol, could also be I've activated a setting via button combos that are not listed in the manual as have been messing about.

I've asked PB Tails to send me all button combo commands so I can figure it out

It looks like the controller you always gave to your friend to use whilst you use the nice official ones lol.

I think I said in the cyberpunk thread but they think I should be getting mine towards the end of the month. I did say that I'm not being impatient, I was just curious because I hadn't heard anything.

Thought i'd go back to wired again.. OP1 8k and Zero Soft XL

Must admit it's nice not having to worry about using 4000/8000Hz and draining the battery.
I've been really tempted by the OP1 8k, particularly the purple one that's just come out!

How is it going back to having a wire again? Using a bungee?
