If it continues I think I'm definitely going to have to do it or it's going back. Really want the black one as well as it matches everything else. First world problems eh!
So, since returning to PC Gaming and more specifically online FPS Titles I have been chopping and changing Gaming Mice in an effort to dial in a combination/setup that I really feel comfortable with and where I perform consistently.
I have nostalgia from years ago when I could game every available hour, most likely sat in my pants drinking sugary drinks at all hours Where I used a Zowie EC2-A paired with a SteelSeries QCK Heavy, this setup felt so comfortable and familiar but mostly had to be down to the hours I played and muscle memory developed.
I have dug it out of storage (Posh word for under the bed) and it is well worn, well loved with a little storage grime but this mouse served me well for thousands and thousands of hours.
I settled and was most comfortable with the Pulsar since it is a Clone of Zowie’s EC Series…
So now on to a Zowie EC2-DW which I had been eagerly anticipating the release of, paired with a Zowie GSR 3 Mousepad, this combination so far feels fantastic and I plan to stick with it and dial in that muscle memory again
Had one of those shortly after release. It was absolutely amazing, especially for Star Trek online where you could programme all the macros and control the ship with the stick.
I’m loving this track pad and Bluetooth keyboard. Great for my sofa PC use.

My G13 died after 10 years of daily use in January and I managed to pick one up off ebay for £60. Pity Logitech stopped making them but there was a patent dispute with Razer (after they bought the rights to Belkin's Nostromo series) over the thumb stick.
I love the G13 screen because I use it to display my HWINFO stats, without having the afterburner overlay on my my main screen
All stock yes, which is what surprised me most. It's very thocky to type on but given it's 945g in weight, much like than the Q6 Max, yet still maintains similar typing feedback and noise profile. Well specced too with the magnetic switches if you make use of those features, I have it on default with a few key remaps which works fine in the launcher browser app.

Always enjoy a backstory behind peripheral choices, that EC2-DW looks really nice!
Definitely agree with your last point about 'sticking with it and dialing in muscle memory'. I went through a phase of chopping and changing something in my setup (monitor or keyboard or mouse or mousepad etc.) and it just meant I'd constantly be 'resetting' what I was used to each time.
Not to tempt you into looking at a different mouse but a large majority of the original Zowie designers went and started up Vaxee a few years ago. I believe the Vaxee E1 is essentially their version of the EC2, and the E1 was designed by one of the original designers of the EC2.

Yeah, the EC2 is a GOAT’ed Shape IMO, it feels slightly smaller than the Pulsar Xlite V4.
I could not get on with the GSR 3 - I wanted to be “Matchy Matchy” and had read good things but I have since bought a SteelSeries QCK Heavy, it feels very familiar, the texture has that right amount of friction on my arm giving me enough ease of glide but also very controllable, I much prefer this pad, the thickness despite not having stitched edges makes it feel much more premium too as the Zowie felt cheaper in comparison despite being £34 vs £25 of the Heavy, most likely down to the fact the “Heavy” lives up to its name of being thick and, well heavy.
I was aware of the Vaxee E1 and also aware that it was designed by some of Zowie’s EX Staff but I opted for the XLite V3 and then the V4 until the EC2-DW was finally released, I know the CW was available but at nearly 80Grams with a 3370 Sensor I just couldn’t pull the trigger on over £100 for what was essentially dated internals with a refresh due.
The Base of the Vaxee reminds me of all these Ali Express Cheap Mice which are becoming the trend, other aspects look fantastic as it seems to me a little more rounded than the EC2, it gives me slight Lamzu Thorn vibes.
If the Vaxee was more readily available, I’d have perhaps given it a go but it appears to ship from Portugal to UK and at €159.99 + €20-30 Shipping Fee is a little steep for something I no doubt wouldn’t be able to return easily.
Been using the Keychron B6 Pro this week and I really like it. It's going directly against the Logitech MX Keys S obviously but at a lower price and with more features thanks to the wbe based Keychron Launcher which I much prefer to Logi Options+ - I was able to import my Q6 Max macros over and apply them to the same buttons in keymaps as well which is super convenient, and on top of that there is 1000Hz over 2.4G and wired. It sits much flatter than the MX Keys too, weighs less but still feels decent.
Will continue using this of course and keep the Q6 max to the side for now.
My first proper keyboard:

Wiekav Stars75-S (Flagship/Anodised Silver)
Leobog Reaper switches
Gradient Blue Sideprint Keycaps (just a cheapy set whilst I try others out).
Ordered on the 6th May and arrived this morning (pretty impressive, considering AliX were quoting mid July for some of the bits).
Total spend: £120 (could easily have spent much more, but need to lock down exactly what I want)
My wife will definitely appreciate the lack of "clacking" whilst I'm working (previous board is the FNatic MiniStreak).
Keyboard was £82 (top spec version, anodised) - the included key caps (Black on White) & Rouge Axis switches are perfectly fine, but I wanted side-print and a slightly heavier linear switch.
I bought Dad the Aula F75 for Xmas, which came with Leobog Reapers and I thought they felt really nice to type with, so I grabbed a set (£18 for 100).
Also bought two more gradient, side-print keycap sets (Cyan & Pink), for roughly £13 and a set of Leobog Gray Wood v4 for £12.
I definitely could have spent more, but I'd prefer to hold out until I know exactly what I want. Currently eyeing the Wuque Morandi & Jade switches...
