Personal plates

Gutted!!

I knew they were a bit tail happy at times but like Jez said it only seems like 5 minutes ago you picked it up.

Two weeks! :(

It's all my fault though, should have been taking it a bit more steady for the conditions with new tyres on the rear being 200 miles old.

Yes, they are really tail happy as I've found out this morning :(

Be careful out there guys, the roads are real slippery and this is what happens.

My ribs are aching, burn/bruise on my arm from the seatbelt.

Neil.

Nope, conventional DVLA plate @ £250.

I'm toying with the idea of getting one myself but can't decide.

how do people get plates that cheap?

all places i see are 399 min price for plates? :(

Do you have an S2000? Would look good if you do. I like clever personal plates, but not cheepo irish 3 letter 4 number ones on a ropey old car. Keep seeing a plumber's van on the way to work with P19 SHT which makes me smile. :D

I saw one today, PL03 MER. It was on a new van though.

So sorry to hear this :( Kudos for being honest about it. I assume it will be fixed?
I hope so, but again it will be touch and go I think. From what I could see, the following were bashed up/will need doing:

Two Wheels.
Whole new rear offside wing.
Offside suspension.
Jigging.
Roof torn.
Aft six inches of the sill caved in.
New front bumper.

Not looking good, will easily be more than the damage the Deer incident did to the Integra. I'm screwed either way I see it, repaired and come renewal next year it's uninsurable or it's a write off and I can't insure anything respectable :(

Neil.

Damn!!! :( Sorry to hear that mate!!!!

Just to pre warn others regarding number plates the UK is currently in a massive clampdown on illegal plates, especially illegal fonts and spacings! had no end come back to us at work trying to blame us for their letter from the DVLA! We do warn them beforehand!
