Personalised plates

and then put it on the E92 M3 and then ended up selling it attached to that car.

might be worth a few bob more than i paid, but can't really be arsed with it nowadays.

I was the same when i flogged my car, arsing around with the DVLA was just too much like hard work, i regret it hugely now but then my plate was specific to me, a generic 'v8 wtf' is a nice to have but not going to keep you awake at night crying like my one does :p

Mine is my forum user name (which is also my nickname and what all my mates call me anyway).

Well worth the £250 and I'll take it with me for life I'd imagine.

Wow.. Do want that plate! :(

All the cool kids on here already know what it is.

I don't want to post it as it causes disruption from rife jealousy.

My old plate, I sold it with the car, even though it was specific to me i.e. my initials.

I got fed up with people asuming the car was a K reg! - a better choice of letter next time perhaps?

Surprisingly, its still on the car, nearly 3 years later - I see it frequently.

I'd love a private plate, but can't think anything that I can really justify spending money on. I do like "1JZ 101" for the soarer which is a reference to the car's engine model code (1JZ) and 101 sort of looks like "lol", but it's so obscure that only a hand full of car geeks would get it, meaning that I'd actually have to EXPLAIN the plate to someone, and as far as I'm concerned if you have to tell people what your plate means then it is rubbish.

Another problem is my love of old cars means that my choice is severely limited. I am half tempted to get "JO51HYY", but I wouldn't be able to use it on anything :(.
