Petrol tanker drivers to go on strike

A friend works in a Tesco petrol station. They have had to have staff constantly patrolling the pumps and cleaning up spills as people are over filling their tanks and spilling from containers.

Peoples greed and behaviour is beyond belief in this situation. I can see there being an accident if it carries on.

I got £20.20 worth from the local garage as I saw no queues and they where only allowing that much at a time, Will easily see me over the weekend and hopefully normality will return.

I hope hire car companies won't use this as an excuse to provide you with a car with even less fuel than they normally do already, forcing you to drive straight from the depot to the nearest fuel station. Got to pick up a Focus from Aberdeen airport tomorrow morning. Maybe I should stick a jerry can in my suitcase :/.

Guys, this sounds crazy, but its time to invade Iran and take what ours...

back to topic, size of 200 meters long que outside NW London Shell and MORRISON stations right now.

Filled up this morning at Sainsbury's Kirkcaldy, was pretty busy but nothing major, local stations are dry though but expecting delivery today.

Yes it turns out the ones who are moaning about the idiots panicking are actually the idiots for not panicking and now buggered with no fuel :D

I hardly have any fuel left and will be dry after today :(

Hoping a garage on the bypass/motorway have fuel so we can use the car tomorrow.

There's a small petrol station near where I live that usually charges a penny or two more than the nearest Tesco or shell stations a few miles away.

I drove past it this morning to see that the price of diesel there had been raised from 147.9 to 153.9 - but cars were still queueing from both directions to get in
