Phanteks Enthoo EVOLV.

I'm looking to replace the front 200mm fan with 2x140mm but not sure what to go for. I feel with 2x GTX Titans I need something with a little more static pressure performance so I'm not looking at getting the Wingboost 2 PWMs.

The only fan I've found which I think would do a decent job is the Akasa Apache

Thoughts?

Yep, that or the Bitfenix Spectre should do the job.

if they're anything like that they'll be rubbish  it has an old fashioned housing and is quite light and flexible, get the phanteks, it's much heavier and stonger/ far quieter

I've found Silverstone air penetrator fans to be very good for directing air towards sli cards. Got 2x 140's as front intakes and x2 120's on the hdd cages.

Thanks for that, the Vipers look great on paper, but yellow

I had 2x120mm Penetrators before and they sounded like a UFO. While they worked well, they were far too noisy - thanks though :)

see my rig above...the Phanteks blow the hell out of the TX, they're heavy and frigid, the Vipers are flimsy and thin.... dont get Vipers, i threw mine in the bin, they're not even as good as the Corsairs

i only ever use corsairs and phanteks

I'd still go with the Apache, will move more air and have a better rated air pressure. I have the 120mm variant and can vouch for it. 140mm should be more of the same :)

Lol, np mate. Thankfully all my case fans are on a controller that allows them to be turned off if required.

Regarding the akasa vipers, theyre even louder than air penetrators. Same for the more easier on the eye piranhas. The apaches are the quietest of that range of fans from akasa.

hmmm....

The Wingboosts are 19db, so not really looking for anything over that. Although, 2 ref titan coolers aren't exactly quiet!

If only the soddin' PWM hub worked like I wanted it too - I'm forever buying fans :(

Wingboosts are good but they dont push a lot of air, i have about seven or eight of them here. Five are the red clover 1200 rpm models, but theyre only suitable for those looking for a very quiet setup. Corsair sp's arent bad, had these as intake prior to the silverstones. All my other visible fans are a mix of corsair af and sp's. 2x sp at bottom intake, 2x af's as top exhaust and 1x 140mm af as rear exhaust. All with red rings to match my ROG board and cables.

Yeah wingboosts aren't all they're cracked up to be, they're so quiet because they don't shift anything, when you ramp them up to the speed required to actually cool something they're about as loud as anything else.

Snips you changed to two 140mm's yet?

I will be joining the Enthoo Evolv club soon :)

Still trying to make my mind up on gpu for it at the moment im leaning towards AMD 295 so I still have a slot free.

No, I'm having to save pennies as I may be moving out :(

I intend to get 2x140mm, will post pics when I get round to it!

my af140mm are not that bad. It the pump on my X60 that is making the noise.

I have dropped them all down to 5v and set BIOS to lowest fan speed settings.

Does the 2x SSD drop 'n' lock bracket fit in these or is there only enough space for the single SSD bracket?

Gonna be ording a grey case tonight as I've managed to find an ASUS ROG Gene V motherboard, I have 2x SSD's to mount, just a shame it's only the white or black that are ever on offer!
