Phanteks Enthoo EVOLV.

Just an 4770k/asus gene z87 build.

For £100 you will not find a better built and quality case. I could not go back to a plastic case.

Can't believe the quality of this thing for the price. It's amazing:eek:

How are the noise levels? Looks like the thick panels will do a fairly decent job at keeping things silent-ish.

Is your PSU oriented correctly? Seems odd that they chose to have that particular area windowed... who likes to see their PSU? Most don't have much going for them visually anyway. I'd have preferred they blanked that off or something.

PSU is pulling air from underneath, there are vents on the bottom part so you can orientate the PSU to pull air from the case.

Noise levels from the two stock fans are decent, but the 140mm in the back is noticeable at full whack. I've got them both on 9.5V at the moment and they purr along.

The panels are excellent quality, real heavyweight stuff, really dampen the sound. When you open both sides up you appreciate the job they do.

For around £100 this really is a well made case. Haven't been this happy with a case since I bought my Antec P180 when they first appeared. Get a similar vibe of this one. Think this will be a keeper:D

Thank you, cable management in this thing is really quite easy. If I'm being picky I would say the side window is quite thick and tinted so you'd need some decent LEDs to shine inside if you go down that route.

Noise levels for me are low when you turn the the fans down via fan control. The case is so solid there is no chassis resonance at all even with a mechanical hard drive spinning away, this was a problem with all previous cases I had from the likes of lian li, corsair and coolermaster.

I for one like to show off my expensive branded PSU, Phanteks do it right and cover all the messy cables and just leave the branding on show.

Only issue I have is the tint on the window is too dark so going to invest in some LEDs

Good review below from Bill.

This beats the H440 hands down. Such a nice case. I am waiting on the extra ssd bracket, and I need to find a place to put my other 2. I put some matt black vinyl on the psu, looks perfect now :D

Here are some photos, I added a 670& 6870 "SLI" photo for anyone thinking about adding 2 cards. I now have my 970:p

Using cable extensions is a bit much for the case, I would recommend not using them. Shame both my 8pin extensions are broken

How are the noise levels in there? Looks like you changed the fans?

Yep all fans are now 140mm Corsair air flow apart from 1 NZXT stock fan.

I have them all connected up to the fan hub, that is not powered SATA just motherboard. Motherboard is set to 400RPM I think . it is about 35dB. Most of the noise from the x60 pump.

CPU idle is 32c 3770k @ 4.8ghz
Stock MSI 970 idle 37c with no fans on

I tested by using the NZXT x60 to control all the fans with the drop down resisters and the H440 fan hub, both too loud. I should have tested with my sp120 but didn't

The stock 140mm is louder than the 200mm, Tested it from a fan header off the x60.

I spent 20 hours building and testing, Overall the noise is same as H440 with a few tweaks.

Hope this helps.
