Here she is almost put back together. Coolant in ( just need to order a 250ml yellow concentrate to top it up ) And finish sorting out the cables, along with my black yellow extensions.

I still need to wait for my replacement fan hub and front led strip. Plus, the 2 front panel clips have failed again, so I need another 2, via Phanteks ( again ) other than a few little niggles she be almost done.

It would be nice if someone from OcUK can confirm if they are due a delivery from Phantek's! I heard they had shipped the white version earlier this week, an offical ETA from OcUK would be nice though :D!

I just got this case a couple of days ago and putting a 240 and 360 rad in it. Unfortunately I didnt check measurements of the 360 rad I bought and its too wide for the bottom.

However, last night I figured I could put it in the top on a push pull and use up less space if I put my top fans between the top of the case and the top grill. Has anyone done this before? I assume its fine as long as my screws are long enough? Or would the standard 30mm be fine?

I was gonna add fans into the top housing also, I can't see it being an issue, just double check the length of the screws though to make sure they don't penetrate the fins. My rad came with a little diagram warning about screw length.

Yeah I'll keep an eye on the screw length, I've screwed into a radiator before, wasn't in a good mood when I did it, although it's lasted 3+ years after I soldered it :P

I don't know if this is a really stupid question, but if I use the 240 rad with push pull configuration, how do you attach the fans and radiator to the bottom stand off/radiator mount. Or can you screw through the mount, through fan and into the radiator?

Changed loop order:

Got a revision 2 coming tomorrow.

Though most of you will probably shake your head in disapproval when I say I am only going to be air cooling :D

Good news eyetrip.

Will you try and figure out what makes it a revision 2 please? You can trust me if you want and maybe we can do some comparisons.

Sure. Not sure exactly when am going to get to build. Maybe will make time tomorrow, but may leave for weekend.

Place I bought from lists "minor updates and mainly to the Clips on the HDD Cage and the Front Filter Mech" as the updates.

Will have a look at reviews when I open it to see if anything else.

PS - Whom I kidding? It'll be set up tomorrow!

Why would we - it is a excellent case for either air or water cooling.

But water is cooler - Pun intended :D

Drop me a email please

Man, the first case I owned that I can say I LOVE!

And I have had some nice cases.

Figured I would still need to get something like the NZXT G10 for my top card, the Powercolor PCS+ R9 290 being a fairly fat (2.5 slot), but without having to put all fans on "WHAT? I CAN'T HEAR YOU!" like for the Carbide 300R and still struggling to keep the top card under 80, now the top card isn't breaking 70!

I did re-arrange fans a little though - moved bottom included to top, and put my two Prolimatech vortex Alumminium's down below. Running them on full or medium does not seem to make much diff, so keep them slower.

Was going to use the two aerocool sharks, but they don't seem to like being horizontal, as they make a sort of grinding noise when starting up. Pity, as they are pretty quiet while shifting a fair amount of air.

It did take me a while to get it all together though. Started early yesterday evening, and only finished like an hour ago. But I wasn't in a rush, and it always takes a bit longer first time with a new case and CPU cooler - BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 3.

Haven't tested the cooler out yet, but I almost couldn't get my Kingston Beat RAM in, and even now is not sitting completely straight. Was like 1mm out. Really wish they would keep memory further away from CPU on boards.

And damn is she sexy! She was going to be sitting to the right of my desk, but after finding out just how darn heavy she was, and seeing just how darn sexy she was, I decided to put her on the left where she will be on display, rather than hidden between desk and wall.

As for differences with the revision 2.... well, couldn't really see anything that different from what I saw in reviews. I was kind of hoping they had changed that backplate thing that sticks out from back of case, as I had to remove it or my cards would never have fit.

And I can see just how much potential this card has with regards to multitudes of different cooling options, and it's seriously got me toying with the idea of slowly setting up water cooling in it. Maybe starting with GPU's. Yeah, I know most would go for CPU, but I think the most benefit fort me would come from getting the GPU's under water.

This case will be with me for some time.

Will try and get some pics up later :)

Probably being numb but what pumps does the pump mount actually support? Hoping I am just missing something obvious.

I have a DDC-1T and cannot see how the screws could line up for mounting.

I also have one of the EK DDC mounting plates for using with their D5 mount (I think) and can't see how that would work either!

Can only reiterate what others have said with the case, it is fantastic and a joy to work with.

doyll, have you any more details of the caster base you made? Looks like a great idea and the thing will weigh a ton when I am done I think.

Look forward to seeing pics of yours eyetrip, and what it's like for air cooling. The more i look at shots of the white model the more im tempted by it.

Not great pis, but here you go...

If there is one thing I wish they had done (apart from that bracket thing), it would be to provide some sort of solid plate for that bottom rear fan mount. I am sure a lot of air that could be pushed to the cards is going straight out there.

Had an old 140mm fan cover thing from a Fractal R3 from yonks ago, but if I put it inside, I couldn't get the bottom fan mount back in, and if I put it outside, I couldn't get the side back on...

Oh, and I forgot to mention the one thing that I love the most about this case. For years, my pet peeve has been that all intake fans are mounted so that there is a grill right up against in every single case I bought. This always leads to them making more noise. This case has good spacing between intake fan mount points and the fans themselves!

The red fans ruin it a bit, but I'm not buying more fans....
