Would you recommend this over the HAF-X? Bought a HAF-X the other day but it arrived busted so it's gone back, though now I'm considering a white Enthoo Primo? How are you finding the temps compared to the HAF?

I was going to get the white but I got the black one at a much cheaper price.

Yes, for me its a better case keeping in mind Haf-x is a very good case, one of the best I've used.
I had a lot more space in the primo, the top mesh comes off so it was much easier and faster to build with, cable management was very simple and ive not even tried to manage them. the fan hub came in handy

I've not checked the temps yet, just finished it 1 hour ago, I've still not re attached the side panels, Ill check it tomorrow and update.

Just had a good look at the case. one thing i have notice compared to my Haf-x is the metal is much thinner
I also noticed this vs my old CM690-II, significantly thinner metal on the primo which makes it far more prone to resonance. I think I'm going to need sound proofing on the side panels to cure some of the humming from one of the hard disks.

after using the primo for a bit ive found 2 other downsides,
1, the power button is sensitive, the slightest tap and the pc will turn on or off, it may have been better to have the power button on the top of the case in the middle.
2. its hard too move.

1. Yep it is
2. Castor base FTW ( Doyll is the man for custom base, he made me one.)

I wont need the casters after I place the pc were I need it, unless i need to open pc, its just a pain, they could have thought about this and added castors.

Dont notice any humming or reasonance, but it does make cracking noises. Mainly after being just switched on. To be expected with a case that has a few plastic parts. Not used to it though after having used an all aluminium lian li and a heavy steel bitfenix shinobi xl.

Another proud Enthoo Primo owner...

First ever PROPER water cooled build ( Had a H60 before that for 3 years ),just done the cpu as it was my first attempt, might do more later.

Great case, but I think they could have cut down on some of the case's weight, like the top and front fascia. They are only made of plastic, but they are well over engineered, and weigh a ton.

This was nearly double the weight of my Lian Li aluminium full tower case, the weight for me is the only downside of this case, the rest of the features are fantastic.

Would be great if Phanteks do some aluminium cases's in the future...

Thanks :)

I'm using 600mm AKASA white Vegas LED strips on the main window ( 1 on the left and 1 on the right )

And,i'm using 300mm Silverstone white LS01W LED strip to light up the small window.
