I sold my Titans, so at the moment 3x7950s, probably I will wait for 20nm to replace them.

I bought the 7950s for a "friend" that changed his mind and left me with the cards :(

Ill need to get my bracket checked for definite with the two cards in. Got a mate with access to a water jet cutter, so should be able to get it trimmed. It was rumoured that phanteks were going to release a slimmer bracket. But nothing as yet. Shot of my cards in situ, (not the best tbh lol).

Ordered this case today and should arrive sometime over the next 48 hours, Moving my gear out of a Bitfenix Ronnin and into this should be fun and a nice change :)

Going to go air cooling for now but will build a water setup in the future as i want to have a play and cut the noise of my H100i.

Case arrived already :)

first impressions - looks well built and huge lol

front panel which hides the 2 fans is a bit of a forced issues to get it to click back into place but works otherwise.

cant wait to give my parts a whole new space to chuck a heat party in.

Congratulations!

The easiest way to open the front push to release is by removing the bottom 6.25 optical bay cover and with fingers and thumb grip and squeeze the front and cross piece behind it until it clicks, and presto! the front fall out against your thumb.

My guess is the plastic cross piece flexes into case a little when front is pushed, but squeezing it stops that flex and the latch clicks open much easier.

Got my parts all transfered into the new case and all up and running.

The fans that Phanteks provided with the case, are these pwm? I only ask as their site doesnt say if they are or not.
Been considering whether to water cool or just add more/replace exisitng fans with some different coloured led fans like the spectre from bitfenix but then its a trade off between pwm fans and airflow or led fans with less airflow.

Just cant make my mind up whether this sort of setup is worth the extra over my h100i -

and the fact that im struggling to find a water block for my 780ti windforce oc edition other than from Ek water Blocks and even then its limited supply.
The list above probably aint a great one as i have never water cooled before.

do i have to have pwm fans connected to the pwm hub for them to work properly or can i add any fan to the pwm hub and still control it as desired?

No, they are not PWM... they are 3 pins and the front ones have an extra 2 pin cable for the leds.

The HUB is PWM only on the main connector, the fan connectors are 3 pin.

What Drangueos said. The only PWM fans from Phanteks are the PH-F140HP & PH-F140XP. The PWM controlled fan hub does a good job of automatically controlling fan speed of 3-pin fans. That is what it is designed to do.;)

Are you having heat problems now?
If not, ass Gigabyte 780TI OC makes more heat than your 4790K, I see no reason to change until you can find a block fo rthe 780TI OC. The fact that the Windforce cooler is one of the best air cooling setups is probably a big part of the reason it is hard to find a block for it.

Several of us are using Primos on air. They work very well! I'm using 9 case fans, but 5 did the job with no problem. I used all 5 as intakes; 2x front, 1x bottom and 2x top. Case has so many vents and the PH-F140SP fans easily give case great airflow. I only added the additional F140 SP fans because I got a deal I couldn't refuse. :D
Only "mod" is a castor base for ease of movement and better airflow to bottom intakes.
