Go-on. You know you want one. If you don't need something as big as Enthoo Primo the Enthoo Luxe might do for you. And it's not as expensive either.so tempting!
How much?
That's a long list of problems did you get the rev 1 case I got the rev2.
Just received all my replacement parts from Phanteks!
1. New PWM fan hub - works perfectly now! Also helps that I got Speedfan working with my MSI Z97 board (which was not supported - but the awesome Alfredo Milani Comparetti built me a special version just for my mboard!).
2. New front clips - back in business! No need to use tape anymore to secure the front filter.
3. New HDD LED/Reset switch lead...quite easy to install and I have a working HDD LED again!
4. Upper mesh grill assembly - no rattling anymore!
Overall very happy again
Just been playing around with my fan setup in the Enthoo.
I noticed the Phanteks 140mm SP fans really don't like being placed upside down. Certainly at least one of mine was making interesting noises when mounted to exhaust air out of the case from the top.
I have now set them up so they are pushing air in from the top and the bottom and exhausting out the back. That seems to be a much quieter and well tolerated setup.
Might get another Phanteks XP PWM fan to accompany the other one I have and mount that on the top so I have 3x140mm pushing air in from the top!
I bought rubber fan shrouds as my two of the bottom seemed to clatter? Or hit the case
It's as if the fan drops a millimeter or so when upside down
Did you use the screws supplied for the case fans to fit the AF's clone? The only location where the screws worked for me was on the inside mounts on the part next to the hdd cage. All my case fans are corsair AF/SP's and i had to use rubber bolts on all but the aforementioned fans..Corsair AF140 work well in this case got 2 on bottom and 2 on the front.
Not as easy as one would hope!
I sent them an email via their website to which I had no response for 3-4 days. So I called phanteks USA and spoke to Brian who was very helpful. He told me that phanteks NL would be dealing with sending me the parts. I got an email from them about a week later and the parts arrived today, about a month or so after the initial request.
They are aware that their European support is lacking and they are working on making it better, at least that's what I have been told!
EDIT - Just checked it was 7 weeks from my initial contact to receiving the parts!
