PHANTEKS EVOLV X & P600S

Done the RGB fan thing wasn't to keen on them was thinking 2 140mm corsair ml on the front and 1 on the rear then 3 120 ml on top for the rad.

Got me the cable so I can link the case rgb to my Asus motherboard, think that's as far as I'll go RGB.

I assume you mean the Asus AI suite which gives you Fan Xpert.

I have all eloop fans in my system. and I just checked - the majority are PWM but I do have two 3 pin and all are controlled through Asus Fan Xpert. You do seem to get a bit finer control from the PWM fans - I have run fan tuning and basically the 4 pins give me around 38-100% controllable range while the 3 pins give 55-100% but this may just be partially due to the fact that the 3 pins are a lower rpm variant.

Either way, there is a PWM version available which I linked in my last post. Both will allow you to control fan speed through Asus Fan Xpert

@ChugNorris which colour has best availability in first batch and if I order the silver first thing tomorrow do you think I will be lucky enough to be in the first batch?

Silver, followed by Black, Gunmetal is almost out! Order by 12 tomorrow and you've got a good chance of getting first batch, if you PM me your order number once done I'll confirm for sure.

really want the best airflow in the Evolv, high air flow fan at the front which is pulling air in through the front gaps, static pressure isn't much of issue hear as thats more of a push thing.
at the top, you want high static to push through the mesh and then at the rear another high air flow :)

Given the mesh proximity at the front of this case, would airflow fans struggle there? Just trying to work out a suitable configuration myself, but without seeing it in person, it's difficult to judge.

Technically, since your pulling through the mesh, airflow fans, if fans were mounted Infront and were pushing through it then static pressure .
Long long while ago alphacool sent me all data about rads and fans etc .

Ah, interesting. In that case, I might migrate those two provided static pressure fans at the front to the top, and put in some airflow silent wings at the front instead.

Annoyingly this means I'll have to bench one of those three Phantek fans, since I also have to deal with a 120mm rad+fan from the graphics card which will be moving over to this case, but never mind.
