PHANTEKS EVOLV X & P600S

Anyone put halos in this case evolv x, case has a 3 pin connection but halos are four pin although the manual says they are compatible?
Am I missing something?

Question for you guys who've done a build with a vertically mounted GPU...
I'm going to be doing a build for a friend soon using the Evolv X (will post pics) and I'm going to be using a PCIE Intel Optane SSD, can anyone tell me if the 220mm GPU riser cable will block / prohibit using the lower PCIE slots on the system board? I could always go for the Phanteks 600mm riser cable but that would leave a lot of excess cable to try and hide...

Thanks for the help.

Don't hold me to this but I am measuring 3" of clearance.

Thanks Jinque, very much appreciated. I think I'll opt for a Samsung 970 Pro m.2 instead of the Optane.

It would be nice if Phanteks had a 300mm Riser option for the Evolv X - I know they have this one https://www.overclockers.co.uk/phan...riser-cable-180-degree-adapter-cm-02m-pt.html but its not compatible with the Evolv X GPU mount by the looks of it. https://www.overclockers.co.uk/phan...riser-cable-180-degree-adapter-cm-02m-pt.html

Looks good!

What size GOverlay did you use? Might get on ordered before I get the case, so knowing if its the 2.8 or 3.5 would be useful, and is that all done using their software?

Figured out a use for the shroud cut out using a goverlay LCD panel

@Demon

All you need is Goverlay and HWinfo64, I'm just using a tweaked white template (included) in it.

I have both the 2.8 and 3.5 screens, although not much in size there's a lot more option on the 3.5 screen and it seems to be more powerful - it's just better over all to be honest so wouldn't recommend the smaller one unless space was a problem. You'll need to temporarily disable driver signing to get the LCD driver installed but I've been using these for 5 years + so it's not something I was worried about, it's re-enabled after reboot anyway.

What I don't understand is why phantek when with the 5 volt rgb with the case, isn't the 12 v much better as there seems to be better rgb stuff.

12v/4pin rgbs can only display a single color at a time. so if it's a light strip all the LEDs on the strip will be 1 color. 5v/3pin rgbs are individually addressable so a light strip can display a rainbow or other effects

Is there a way to connect the case leds to an Aquaero farbwek to control them rather than motherboard? I have both a glacier block on my cpu and gpu block linked into farbwerk/AE 6XT and would love to use it also for the case leds but the farbwerk is a 4 pin connection rather than the 3 pin on the case

If you have glacier than this is 12v. Don't know Aquero but if it only has 12v then no. Case LEDs are 5v

That's what I mean, glacier is 12v so if it connects to Aquero it means Aquero has 12v header. If it doesn't have any other header which is 5v then you can't connect case LEDs

Anybody that bought the phantek rizer can you tell me if you have had any problems with it and performance drop and what model you got.
Thanks.

Can anyone tell me if I connect all my fans into the fans hub then connect the 4 pin connector into an Aquaero 6, will it work ok as it would save me a ton of difficult cabling in the very tight space that I already have to use as well as not having to use fan software other than my Aquasuite which I am very happy with. I am already having to not use my Farbwerk for the leds and use Aura software- which is a bit of a pest as it doesnt seem to like me in a previous build as well!
