Reminds me a lot of the old Thermaltake Level 10 from about 15 or so years ago, also Razer had a concept case similar to this around 12 or so years back that never went to release in the end.

Would be interesting to build, I dont like it immediately as far as looks go but perhaps would grow on me after doing a build and using for a while

personally, i reckon will be a bit pointless. these fancy-shmancy cases won't be cheap.
the vast majority will go to the tech "influencers" to hype up, but ultimately will be too expensive for the average joe = commercial failure...
...and will die a quiet death

I like it. I wonder would my Corsair iCUE LINK TITAN 360 RX LCD Cooler be compatible? EX5 looks great. Even though exposed tubing. Would like more info and pre-order date?

Pricing on these was a lot more reasonable than I was expecting.

Will have some official posts about them soon enough but let me know if you have questions in the meantime and I can answer as I have a sample sat on my desk.

Just watched J2C about it.
Thermals seems to be good, but what about other components? PCH, RAM and NVME?
Feeling gutted as just built in the HAVN BF360 Flow.

Think that's why they've gone with a rear mounted fan behind the motherboard tray to aid in that (would like to see more cases offer mounting for that too)

When are we going to see pre-orders?

unsure yet. there hasnt been a street date set for this launch yet. I will update the thread with all of that info as soon as it hits my inbox.
Been chasing Phanteks for some clarification on what I can talk about but with all of our vendor contacts attending Computex, comms are slow currently.

thermals are fine. It doesnt stand out in the same way as Flux/BF360 etc would but the components on the motherboard will depend on the exact model you get.
as you have probably seen, there are a lot of variants for this case design ranging from a bare case with no AIO cooler all the way up to a fully enclosed unit with a shrouded AIO cooler.
there will be a bit of variance on cooling performance depending on which of the models you look at.
(some have the board & AIO cooler completely enclosed where as some have a cut out in the glass window for the CPU area so a larger AIO with a screen etc can be mounted)

Phanteks have provided a feature set breakdown of the full range:

EX5 and EX6 - Each have different models for different target markets.
  • EX5 - Chassis, external tube routing w/ tube cover
  • EX5 Plus - Chasis, Internal tube routing, preinstalled custom AIO
  • EX5 Max - Chasis, Internal tube routing, preinstalled custom AIO, 6" inch LCD Screen
  • EX6 - Chassis, Aluminium CNC Cut Panels, External tube routing w/ tube cover
  • EX6 Max - Chasis, Aluminium CNC Cut Panels, preinstalled custom AIO, 10" inch LCD Screen
The whole series will be announced at Computex, with different launch dates.

It’s space for HDD’s and SSD’s that I’m looking to confirm. If it’s in the PSU shroud then surely there must be plenty of space? I know that external enclosures can be used for storage but nah.

When you say that, I'm not sure if you mean £2-300, or £750 rather than £1k :P

Are you allowed to talk prices, now that Computex is out the way?

Probably not for me either way... I have a case that cost me £42 waiting for me to build it up :P
