did you see his second post, was in another one of ZZACS threads in the graphics card section asking why zzac was banned and saying it was unfair.

thing is though, he isn't doing anything wrong, as he said simply voicing an opinion. out of curiosity why did ZZZAC get banned, did I miss something?
just to add another opinion, I for one have never had any troubles with anything from the auction site, neither has anyone I personally know, me mate Rob got a stonking deal a while ago on an Intel Core I7, recommended by me.

The processor was guaranteed to unlock, it is a condition of the sale.
I used the word guaranteed (in the regard of the seller/ebay) and state percentages. I never stated anything as fact. If I did my apologizes I usually mean highly likely, lets face it nothing is 100%.
As always they're will be a chance it will not work, but this is the same with all retail goods and most of the time goes unmentioned. E.g. I hardly never hear anyone say "It could be faulty" to anyone asking if they should buy a certain product.
I am just posting my opinions on this overall topic obviously believing that the product will be ok and will unlock, again because this has been guaranteed by a reputable company. As always in most things it is not 100%, of course not.

As paradisiac said, he did the same thing a few times. Did something, opened a thread about it hoping to get praise and seemed upset when people criticised him.

no, he's not doing anything wrong, but it is a bit suspicious that he would sign up for an account and his first post's would be for this thread
I get some things from the bay with no problems, but i think that the point in this discussion is more that he's getting it form HK

I came across this thread on google accidently and was shocked at, not only the disrespect this guy was getting (although I do not know if he was the same) and that everyone seemed to think that the 970T with a guaranteed unlock was a bad buy.
I think I even saw someone recommend a 1055T instead of this which was utterly shocking.
ZZZAC should have been banned for this
But AFAIK was not and was instead banned in another thread for no apparent reason (although he may of insulted someone and it was removed).

there has been a little disrespect, but to be fair, Zzzac has not helped. Asked for advice, then disagreed with everyone and got a little bit agressive with anyone who disagreed with him. If there is any disrespect, then i would say that it is mainly due to this.
some people were annoyed when he kept asking for advice and then just ignored them

ok, and if i misunderstood i also appologise. like i said, i dont like to argue, but for new members to come in and start making random statements does seem a bit rude. but, if it was taken out of context or i missunderstood then its my fault and i will accept that.
as for the whole zzac thing, i think he went the wrong way about things, jumped in with both feet, posted on here asking what everyone thought expecting a big pat on the back, when it didnt come he got nasty, but i dont think he ever meant any harm in it. i have never met him, so maybe he did, but from the bits i read, i think it was more that he was upset he didnt get the response he wanted, so lashed out. hopefully its not a long suspension and he will come back and prove his decissions were correct and he got an awesome system for little money. time will tell.
yeah, i'd like to add that i do hope it all works out for him
btw, he could have been banned for excessive linking to other sites. tbh, i was amazed that he was getting away with it!!

Thing is, this forum offers advice right? He says, if I correctly remember, he has only been in to computers since spring 2010 so I would consider him somewhat in-experienced. We are just stating the facts so he doesn't loose money or see his purchases go up in flames.

Honestly my main complaint was that you guys did not recommend the obvious bargain that is the 970T, but instead recommend others including the 1055T which is, IMHO, terrible advice.
This ZZZAC does, now, seem like he deserved to be banned. When I originally came to this thread I only saw terrible advice and a lot of flaming which is what caused me to post.
I still maintain that the 970T is a great buy. However my opinion about ZZZAC is now negative.
