Phillip Schofield comes out as gay

  • 3. A majority admit to falling for fake news at least once — citing Facebook as the leading source — and want both governments and social media companies to take action.

[*]86% said they had fallen for fake news at least once, with 44% saying they sometimes or frequently did. Only 14% said they had “never” been duped by fake news.
[*]Facebook was the most commonly cited source of fake news, with 77% of Facebook users saying they had personally seen fake news there, followed by 62% of Twitter users and 74% of social media users in general.
people still use them though, and those are just the cases they realised it was 'fake' news.

I assume by admitting he is homosexual he probably has slept with a man?

Not necessarily but there's already rumours about him.
One of my workmates came out very late in life and decided he had to leave his wife (kids had already grown up and gone).
He tried to become fully gay but couldn't do it and just got off to gay porn.

I don't believe this whole thing, I have my theory on it all. In my opinion nobody is born gay.

Great theory. Has it been peer reviewed? I've had a quick flick through, and think that it is probably ****.

In your opinion, therefore, is everybody born straight?

Surely you're not really either when you're born... or for that matter as a baby, toddler, small child etc... it's only later that you start to develop feelings for the opposite sex (or indeed same sex).

That isn't to say that there isn't necessarily a genetic component, but is probably more a probabilistic thing and I'd wager environmental considerations play a part too....

Perhaps someone has done some study on identical twins raised together and raised apart etc..?

That doesn't follow. There are some things that are fixed from the start but don't develop until later. For example, people don't grow dense facial hair when they're born but many people do when they mature and that's nothing to do with environmental considerations. You can't take something developing at some point in life as evidence that there are environmental factors. Or that there aren't.

I'd wager nobody really knows. There are many things that aren't known. For example, why are most humans right handed but some are left handed? Why are most cats left pawed but some are right pawed? Why is the trend different for cats and humans?

This is where we differ. I agree we inherit our parents or predecessors traits but I don't see it as genetic rather ideas and dispositions.

The sins of your father's get passed down to you so to speak. It's more about strength and weakness than genetic, I think anyway.

It's analogous to gene mutations. A complex array of relationship difficulties that get continually passed down and the longer they go unresolved the more damaging they get.

People play on these weaknesses and hence exaggerate them especially when younger.

I am not so sure. When I was at school there was a guy in my year who ended up being gay. He was a child of 4. 3 boys and 1 girl and was also from quite a wealthy family. His father owned the village hardware store. Of those 4 children the girl and two boys grey up to be homosexual with only a single male who got married, had kids etc who was also the oldest of the 4. It could be just a coincidence but to me that leads to genetics.

Animals can be gay too :).
I know of someone who was married for 5+ years. Not only came out as gay but is now a woman, having had the full operation done. Shame they picked the name "Annie" as they're now known as. well, that;s easy to guess (probably).
