You see this is part of the problem. People are having a laugh and other people get offended by it because the subject is someone who is gay.
What about when a footballer misses a sitter or smacks it 20 foot over the bar from 10 foot out. You get the videos cut of it leaving the atmosphere and hitting something in space. Its a joke, get over it. Far too many people in the world have lost their sense of humour when it comes to any group that is considered victimised. Most of these things aren't done to be nasty, they are done for a laugh. What if it was a gay man making the jokes? Is that still homophobic.
Maybe we need to push the reset button and stop being judge, jury and executioner whenever anyone says something we can take out of context and become offended by.

Thats an awful and terribly homophobic.
Telling someone that they shouldn't be offended when you laugh at them is a bit like punching someone in the arm and telling them that it didn't hurt.
Take their word for it, they know if it was offensive or not.
Way to many people don't understand humour now, or will take things totally out of context. Just carry on and let them get offended tbh, what are they gonna do.
A lot of people say they are offended because thats how they think they should react. Have a look on social media. If someone types some bad news and others comment its like reading robotic replies as everyone is saying nearly the same thing. There isn't much thought gone in to it, and probably most couldnt give a flying cow about the subject. It's politically correct madness.
Do you think gay people never tell offensive jokes to other gay people?
You’d think working with Holly what’s her puss would be enough to turn even the gayest man straight.
I'm as surprised by this as I was when Barrymore came out.
don't see the justification for it to be on front pages of newspapers TBH.
Barrymore was a surprise, but not Schofield or Tom Daley.
That's not the sign of no one caring. Household name comes out as gay = big news and i imagine this will be the case for a long time to come.
100's of thousands of Middle Aged Women crying into their Cab-Sab!
Barrymore is only remembered for the pool incident now though![]()
