phoned in sick...went to a festival...got caught...can I get sacked ?

to cut a long story short I was half cut and ended up speaking to my boss on the phone and told him I was at T in the Park
I have been told I will have to attend a disciplinary hearing, I have had a verbal warning before for time keeping and attendance which will still be on my file

will it have to go on to a written warning now or is it classed as being serious enough that they can just sack me straight away ?

i work with a bloke who regually has time off sick, when he is not sick at all

it really gets to me as i have to pick his work up
