phoned in sick...went to a festival...got caught...can I get sacked ?

wouldnt worry about it, same thing happened to someone that worked with me, he was on long term sick and my boss caught him down the beach catching some rays:cool:
 
if your about to get sacked you will have to pull out the alcoholic card

pretend your an alcho and that your admission to the boss was a cry for help.

also tell him you wherent at T in the park but that you where at the really noisy local stripbar, because your addicted to that too. you said T in the park to hide your shame.

If you fraudulantly claimed sick pay, then this is normally a disciplinary offence, and can qualify as gross misconduct, which means, yes, if that's the company policy, you could be sacked.

Going to really depend on how your company's processes are written and how much they are willing to tolerate from you.
 
A guy where I work phoned in sick once and I found him down the beach after work. He didn't get a damn thing for it.
 
I once phoned in sick because I was actually sick. I felt bad for doing such an honest thing :(
 
Absent without leave is usually classed as gross misconduct which can mean instant dismissal without needing written warnings first. The fact that you already have a warning doesn't bode well.
