Hello

Very sorry to ask here, but ive been trying to click on your links to see for your sale items, but the below message comes up. Ive tried to submit a query through this website, but all of my attempts return me a message in Outlook saying all my messages are undeliverable. Can anyone assist? Am i allowed permission to view for sale items?

Thanks in anticipation.

(ive been watching this forum on and off for 2 years now, and finally have purchaed a digital SLR to play with. your forum is an exceptional knowledge base - well done!!!).

From the faq (http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/faq.php?faq=vb_user_maintain#faq_vb_use_cookies):

The members market is provided as a free service to active and contributing forum members. OcUK are not liable for any deals that are done in the Members Market, you are free to buy and sell at your own risk. Please read the rules of the Members Market before you proceed to make your first sale.

Access to the Members Market forum requires two things. Firstly, you will need to have over 250 posts and have been signed up for at least 90 days. Please note that this does not mean you spam the forums simply to increase your posts, as this action will result in posts being deducted, and if you continue this behaviour, your account will eventually be banned/suspended. Once you reach 250 posts, you will need to activate your trust. This is either found in your UserCP, or you can press the trust button that appears at the bottom of all your posts.

Once you satisfy both of these criteria, Members Market access will be granted within 24hrs. Please do not post on the forums asking why you cannot access the members market, if you have any queries, email one of the forum Dons/Admins. The contact addresses are available in the FAQ.

edit: Also the PM function in the forums is disable. Once you do have access to the Members Market you can use the Trust facility though.

The sites a work in progress and I've only uploaded a few of the test galleries (only got 150mb of space on there at the moment using the free account).

Hopefully get the last few bits sorted by the end of the month (upgrade account, more galleries, SEO & sales section).

It would be great if you could send feedback - email in trust.

I like it, apart from the grey colouring. It might be a personal thing, but grey just doesn't do it for me and never seems to set off an image very well.

What I'd very selfishly like to see is how you went from scratch to getting that site done in what - a week or so?

I started it Friday evening. It's easy enough for meto switch it to white so I'll give it a go. I'm trying to get it easy and clean to navigate.

It's not from scratch though!!

It's going to cost me £250 to get storage space on there and whatnot, so at the momen I'm just checking it's the correct path to follow...

Certainly better than grey. Have you tried previewing black? I prefer white, but I think it has to be 99.9% there to work. Black is much more forgiving, and is also kinder to a lot more of the shots you're promoting - really brings out the colours more.
