thanks, i know this is the entries thread but yeh - i really didn't see yours until i'd posted; using the silhouttes. I was going to follow the same style but I came on here to see what people had posted so I thought I better not. :)

I hope some of the entries here are jokes ...yhack. :p

I'm holding off until the last hour(ish) before posting. It's been finished for a while, but I'm not sure if I'm happy with it - certainly not in the same style as any of the other ones posted so far and perhaps not photoshopped enough (it is quite a bit, but in areas you might not neccesarily notice or realise it's been changed).

not going to turn this into a bottom kissing contest aswell, but I think yours is great too - would love a tutorial on how you did the flowery bits - never been too good with getting accurate curvy lines with the pen tool.

Nice entries there guys. Great idea there fini, gets my vote as well. I would also like to know how you did those flowers iCraig, was it wit the pen tool? I do most of my work in Illustrator now, and I find the Photoshop pen tool restrictive and annoying compared to the features of Illustrator.

few thoughts on ppl's work so far... slogans entry - omg, i'm no expert, but ooooh my eyes, they hurt! terrible, in every sense. well done, i guess... love messiah khans, cool trick, generally summery "feel"... equally so, fini's entry - humanise le monster - cool, beginning to actually like him... can we plz plz name him? i think bernard, or sheldon...

It was a stencil, pen tool would have taken years for that. :)

lol.. le monster/fini, it's all good, however, i was actually referring to the 'lil monster-man - guess thats not u now is it?! lol ;)
i still like sheldon as a name for our star of the comp... :p

lies! Everything's hard with the pen tool. It takes me ages to get a consistent curve between two anchor points - soo frustrating.

I understand what you're saying with the custom shape tool - but it's deffo not a default one.
