I used to have the K&M combo but couldn't stand the mouse due to the design of the rubber grip on the left side! Kept the keyboard and went with a SS Rival.

I also hate this mouse, I have a Razer Deathadder which is currently playing up and i am in the process of taking it apart and cleaning it but wanted to use my PC so plugged this one in

Looks good, not sure the legs are necessary though, they just detract from the clean look imo. Also, get a cable tidy for underneath the desk. Ikea do a good one, and it looks like you're familiar with Ikea!

I actually mentioned you Participant in the desk thread in the case forum to give you some credit. Yours was my inspiration if you like, even got myself some osmo top oil for it

Yeh I got the legs as a precaution but it is totally solid and not going anywhere, glad I didn't hesitate and screw them into the wood. I'm using them to hide majority of cables atm, but you're right defiantly better without them.

Got a new desk in, have yet to fully get everything ready. But not bad for 95 quid. Packaging, instructions and labeling were unparalleled, and they even sent a bag of assorted screws extra, called spares.

Cheers, but you're probably not surprised to learn that I nicked the idea rather than invented it! Can't remember where from, but it wasn't OcUK. Maybe Ikea hackers or something.

sorry never seen your post! got it from the chippy shop on the bay.
I got the 2 x 960mm, its on offer (has been for ages) and so is the 2m x 620. the 620mm for me personally is not enough depth and for the price of the 960mm I thought if it was too much I would just cut some off, but it turns out perfect for my needs, it depends how much space you have
