Pic: Your desk...RIGHT NOW

Curious what do you do to WFH fulltime? Lot of hyrbids out there
Work for one of the big telecommunications companies. No need to be in office for the job, there's a few who are near to the offices who go in sometimes (hybrid) but the majority of staff are full time WFH and we just use teams for communication. I do 4 days a week 40hours so it's nice having no commute. Although my car barely goes anywhere and feels like a pointless expenditure

Blast from the past.
 love this as an idea, but I'd have to then put something in the scene to concern people!!

Set up my new Hs7 speakers :D

Amazing sound and great even at close range.

Just a bit big :D

and yes that is A4 paper behind my monitor. I need to get a pull down white screen or something to reflect the synced lighting on the back of my monitor

Looks awesome. How long will it stay that tidy though? :D
I cleaned, took that photo and then put all the clutter back :D, Don;t think OCUK wants to see my Tupperware box full of raw papers etc :o

Under the table is a crazy mess
1 plug for the huesync light on the back on my desk.
1 plug for the hue sync light on the back of my monitor.
1 plug for the hue sync hub
1 plug for the bt smarthub
1 plug for my main monitor
1 plug for my second monitor
1 plug for my pc.
1 plug for each speaker (there's no right of left speaker, each speaker is identical with its own amps inside)

So 8 power plugs total lol, then all the other cables running all over the place :O

I need to get some cable management going

Those HS7s look amazing, assume the sound quality is top notch too? - Love a bit of Yamaha - also soothers season has started for all I guess :D

Yea everything sounds amazing
I've been listening to genres I don't even like, just to hear how the different instruments sound and everything sounds totally authentic to me, was loving some Beethoven piano earlier

Definitely really good value and in white they look fantastic.
Crazy loud for a pc though even with the speakers gain levels at min, I'm having to limit windows volume to like 20% for just rando youtube videos or watching the football :O

Monitors though so sound amazing still at nearfield distances even though the speakers are pretty massive
I just need some stands so the tweeters are at ear height

0 hiss connected to my creative Z SE, smart hub gave interference at desk level, but as soon as I moved it higher up it went away, as you can see in the pic it's still basically sat almost touching the speaker.

Had the same desk for like 10+ years. We are working from home full time so it was time to replace the desk as it was falling apart.

Nothing fancy it's mainly just for WFH, rarely game these days unfortunately but hop onto overwatch, gw2 and some others sometimes.
