Herman Miller Aeron as ooverclockao linked to there - yes it is very comfortable and it's possible to sit on it all day without feeling the need to twitch around, I doubt there's much better out there without paying really ridiculous money. The mesh material it's made from allows your skin to breathe. I've sat on £3000 leather sofas and have stood up sweating after sitting for even 10 minutes on one if the room was warm. Not so with this
It cost me £650 or so but it's with me for life, there's not exactly new models coming out every year and the quality will always be there. A nice place to park the ass for a day

People spend stupid money on loads of things I think are silly, but this is something I use almost every day and for long periods every day too. If I think something is worthwhile and I'll use it a lot, I have no qualms about throwing money at it. Car, chair, software etc. But at the same time, and taking this right off topic, I see no point in buying, say, an 8800GTX (or two of them) when I'm happy with a GTS.
