Taken tonight, note the Heron on the left. Spent a while watching him fish.
 
Nice. I saw those on Google and wanted to go photograph them but apart from being so far away from me, you need a boatride to get close enough for photos, right?

Yeah, I got a boat from Whitstable but you can also get one from Shoeburyness, and you get about 50ft or so from them.

They look really good, kinda eerie as well, but worth an hour or so on a boat. Just take some kind of covering to protect you and the camera from the spray/waves - I got back soaking :)

Did my first proper go at long exposures. They seem ok.

Nice, turned out great. Did you just come back from there? How funny because I've just got home from taking similar long exposure shots! I started off at the dolphin and girl fountain at St Katharine Docks just below the bridge. I was on the other side of the bridge to you. :)
