[PIC_THREAD] People, Portraits, Street

Couple from yesterday, we've never really got her to learn to ride so trying to sort it out now. If only she'd actually listen...

Haha ....she's a female ! good luck with THAT !

Superb photo, the last one really stands out with that expression. It's nice to see someone actually using film and showing results that look normal rather than this warped idea of "film effect".

Out of interest, are they 6x7 shots?

35mm on Nikon f100.
most using old 50 1.8 D ;D
and thanks for kind words :)
Hope you followed link to flickr to check for more :)

Indeed I did, some very good stuff in there. Surprised at the grain levels for 35mm. I find that the results I get using fuji pro 400H and neopan 400 are a lot grainier than yours. I can't scan my medium format shots as yet so don't know how they compare vs 35mm. (other than in 10x8" b&w prints) I'm yet to try portra or tri-x, quite liked the other kodak films I've used.

MF blows 35mm out of the water (but I do like the grain/speed of shooting with 35mm):

First two are from my Pentax 67+75mm, the last one is from my M4+50mm. Both are Portra 400.
