PICK-POCKETS

My wallet is always in an inside pocket which is zipped, my keys/mobile tends to be in the other one. I always buy a jacket/coat that has at least one zip pocket on the inside, I just don't feel comfortable with these things in my trouser pockets or outside of the jacket.
That's garbage, any thieves always go after easy targets, fact.

He's right you know I've seen a video of this bloke chatting to some Alleged salesman in the street and the sales bloke actually took the blokes tie from around his neck with him none the wiser!
Yes, but then we don't actually have a situation when every other person walking down the street is a professional pick-pocket waiting to thieve your wallet....
Yea I saw that, I have absolutely no idea how that's possible, the guy must just be really unobservant? There's no way you could do that to everyone....

Am I the only one who thinks "front pocket" refers to something on your trousers that is at the front, but not technically a pocket?...

i saw a tv show once, with an expert pick pocketer (he did it as part of a standup show i think), he managed to get the presenter's tie & watch from him whilst having a seemingly 'normal' conversation!
Some Situations:
If your wallet is in the back pocket of your jeans, a pick-pocket can notice the bulge it makes in your back pocket, with a news paper, he can fold a page to make it roughly the same size and thickness by judging it, and then walk passed him, bumping into him, if the pick pocket it quick enough, he can replace the wallet with the news paper if he bumps into him hard enough, and the first thing the victim will do is 'feel' his back pocket, and he can feel what he still thinks is his wallet.
Inside a jacket on the bus.
The pick-pocket can go to get off the bus, wait for a bump in the road and fall into him, and if the pick-pocketer has a new paper to hand, he can remove the wallet and hide the wallet inside the fold of his news paper.
Sitting down in a resturant.
If you keep your wallet inside your jacket, someone can sit behind you, get someone else to distract the victim and then the other person can remove the wallet and leave while this other person is still distracting the victim....
there are dozens of ways a Pick-pocketer can get what he wants...i can go on with examples all day lol
so just be extra careful in busy locations

It isn't garbage as a P-P will find most things easy, even if we find things hard to do...they do it for a living so dont you think they would have perfected it lol

1 way to stop them, plus when they ATTEMPT it, you will know BUT they will check for that first so you'll be fine...i tried it once but just decided to put it in my pocket lol
She claims she would have heard hit the floor it fall if it had fallen out. I'm inclined to agree.
If your phone was to fall out, you wouldn't hear it his the floor if you was in a slightly noisey place or was distracted in some other way...

after watching the real hustle there are hundreds of ways they can get your belongings, even as far as folding up some news paper in the shape of your wallet and switching yours for the paper, so when you check its still there. they even cut bottoms off bags etc to get in them.

A traditional method is to have it strapped to your calf. Not very practical nowadays.
Here's a solution - get a ring piercing in your genitals and chain your wallet to the ring. If anyone tries to steal your wallet, you'll be absolutely sure of knowing immediately. Problem solved

Inside pocket of coat/jacket, or if I'm not wearing a jacket in my jean pockets. I've only ever had 1 person try it on, they walked away with a crushed hand (probably broken too).
