I just mean that sounds like an expensive investment, insurance and resale etc, but i like the car.

nah, they hold their value pretty well - insurance is only £600 per year fully comp, 24 yrs old etc.

besides, its a blast to drive !

Its a fresh import, i was the first owner on the logbook of my 1992 MR2 Turbo in 2004

Lovely car hate, i'd really like one myself but i think i am going to go for luxury this time round instead. Probably what i'd go for if going jap again though. Looks absolutely mint too although obviously hard to tell from photo's

Yeah i bet they are nice to own, but i believe my friend imported his GT4 for £10k and sold it for £3k to a dealer, people around here werent much interested in imports. But he was really unlucky.

If he sold an ST205 dor £3000 then he was robbed :eek:

they are worth far more than that

Was one of the reasons i went for an MR2T at the time - they are a lot cheaper.

I believe he spent ages waiting for a private sale and gave up. But it was not in top mechanical condition, which i guess people were cottoning onto.

A decent '94 seems to go between 5 and 6k.
