LMAO @ Peño!!

I'm lost for words. You're stuck with a car that I'm pretty sure will become boring in the not-so-far-off future, and there's nothing you can do about it.

I've only skimmed through the thread, and have read that you can pay off without penalty before the term of the credit aggreement is complete. If I was in your position, I'd put everything I could afford to into paying your loan off as soon as possible, before you seriously regret what you've done.

crash it, claim the GAP, get the bus and dont be so shortsighted again

if you NEED a car, get a banger for £100 not a £3k clio that costs you £9k

you remind me of you, which means you probably wont listen and get yourself into loads of trouble then look back and realise we are all telling you to run for a very good reason. you are 19 you dont know it all but between the rest of us we probably know a damn sight more, take the advice and stop shunning it!

It'll be front loaded interest though surely? So it wont make any difference.

Apart from not having the horrible shame of years and years of DDs showing on your bank account.

If it was me, I'd be back at motorcraft in the morning begging and pleading. Tell them you have mental difficulties and didnt understand what you were signing. Cry if necessary.

If anything fox, you fail, you fail full stop, you cant go round talking to people and slating there things like that, its not polite if anything, if you dont agree with what i did then yeah, thats your opinion, an opinion, now leave the thread if you dont want to agree with me and others when saying its a nice car, bar the finance the cost was good and the car IS nice, its not a BMW.. its a Renault..

Mate...mate:

you remind me of you

It's fairly late and I'm a bit drunk, but what?

It's all been said but I've had my Clio for 8 months or so now and despite loving the car and the freedom it's given me enormously, I'm still bored and long for something better - you're no different. You'll regret this before you know it.

OP, did you haggle with the salesman? if so what was the original figure he gave you?

you didnt just take the first price he gave you, did you?

Come on guys lay off him, yes he may have just purchased the most costly low spec Clio out there, yes he may have the financial sense of someone investing in sure deal he heard about from a Nigerian prince, and yes his insurance decisions seem to be as sensible as sending your kids to the Gary Glitter ‘wanna be in my gang’ playgroup but there IS an upside to all this....

..I’ve had a really crap day and this thread has genuinely made me giggle, why oh why would someone actually do this?!?!?

Geez, i thought they got a mate of my mums for an 05 1.8 Almera Auto @ over 7 grand after finance THIS year, they really got you though :( If you were going the finance route anyhow and expected this, why did'nt you get something a bit better? I just closed a deal for a mate on a SAAB 93 55 plate 2.2 TiD for 3950 for gods sake (bargained the dealer from 4100 today).

What a shame, out of all the other cars you could have got without any finance what so ever, I mean you could have got a right shed for a few hundred to get you through a few months while you save for a better car.

There is no excuse for paying that much for a base model used car.

If there is no cooling off period, I'd advise you to have a close encounter with the nearest tree.
