nah morphine is for the pain, I'll switch back to my crack pipe next week apparently it hinders the healing process :(

ah I see...was it a neck operation after the strain its been through due to the torque your previous cars have run? :p

EDIT: I'll never forget going out in that P1...*WAAAAAAUUUUUUB* *slams brakes* *Phate recovers from a mild heart attack* *Will giggles to himself like a school girl*

Great times :D

I suggest you take heed of the advice given out in this thread, there are a fair few knowledgeable people here.

Find out if you can cancel the contract or something.. Jeez

Money is precious!!! & your ending up throwing a whole lot of it away by signing up to there 'take me up the arse' Finance Deal.

BTW dude, i don't think we're ganging up on you, trust us. Youthful enthusiasm has caused me to do foolish things as well (i'm 27 now and a little incy wincy bit more mature ;) ), thankfully nothing as costly. If theres a cooling off period, use it.

Someone said life is a lesson earlier in the thread. I think most people will remember cringe moments in their life.

This may or may not turn out to be a mistake. James, you will find that out with this car. I hope you enjoy your car and the finance side doesnt become a burden.

One thing I have notice is that you seem to have coped with some tough stuff so far at 19. Dont worry about how nice your car is. You seem have perseverence, energy and determination; let that be the thing that impresses people.

You say you needed a car at the time, to get to work etc.
Why did you not sell your old punto and buy a 2nd hand model for say £2,500 at the time?...Just as a run around while you save up for a better car?

OP, take it back. Save yourself £5000 and buy another Clio, same year, same spec from somewhere else.

If you need a loan then get a grand off your parents and buy an older Clio off Ebay then pay that back over a few months if you need a car asap.

Just been to the Renault site. Its true, you can get a brand new Clio for less than 10k.

Probably even less from an actual dealer, given how desperate they are.

And there was that 96 punto that was worth 2k on the scrappage scheme, assuming it ran. I wonder if he could have got a new one for ~7k.

No wonder he struggles to get credit, he's obviously not great with money.

Withouth raining on your thread mate, take it back.

I just picked up a 1.6RXE (2000) with so many electrics its not even funny for £1500.

How were you able to justify this to yourself let alone anyone else?

9 grand for that :|.
It's not even a nice car tbh. It's just average, I wouldn't even pay 3k for it. 9 grand think what else you could have bought with that :|.
