Bought most of this in August.

Finally looking like a bathroom again after starting like this.

I like your floor Todge.

vinyl from carpet right. only cost £60 cos we have such a tiny bathroom hehe. Has the benefit of being completely water proof so now that the edge is also sealed up she can drip dry all she wants in there. Wife wanted tiles or laminate and I said no to both on the grounds of getting it up in the event of a leak being a pain in the ass. I'm really quite lucky that as soon as I give her a valid reason she backs off. A lot of women I know are not the same lol. Now if I can get get to attempt drying with a towel as she is getting out of the bath rather than pretty much just stepping out and walking around the house I might be able to move on to my plans for world peace and unlimited free energy.

Electric, 2wd and about £300 inc. 7cell battery pack.

correct but only £209 , i bought a second battery and a fast charger though so in all it cost £250

its just the crappy brushed version but should still hit around 25mph and its really for my 7year old son but ill enjoy it to :D

ill probably buy an ezrun 8.5t brushless kit for it at some point as its a fairly cheap upgrade compared and should make it plenty fast

What did you lay under it? Any fibreboard or cushioning, to bring it dead level?

AH, It appears Traxxas are much cheaper then, especially for electric. I was contemplating buying THIS, but it's almost £1000 so I bought a Bullet ST instead. I can't do electric though, it just doesn't feel right :(

HPI are just as cheap :p
it was a toss up between the HPI blitz and the traxxas slash they both would have came to the same money on the 2.4ghz RTR versions.

the blitz is said to be more of a track car though with the slash beeing better offroad and near my house the only area i can really go is a large grass field or the newcastle moor as theres no large carparks close to me really.

yea those bajas look so epic about 700quid though for the cheapest model..

i put a cool vid of one if the rc thread someone made the other week i dont know if you saw it or not but here it is
such a great place to bash an RC car!

btw you saw the 240fps vids people have made of rc cars they look so awesome in proper slow motion and when theres nothing to show the scale they actually look like the proepr short course trucks rather than a scale rc car

I laid some 4mm ply under it in 3 sections. One on its own under the loo, one under the basin and then a large one covering the rest of the floor. Then screwed that down with from 1/2" brass screws every 12" or so. Just laid the vinyl on top of that. It's about 4mm thick so its got quite a nice feel to it.

The 4mm ply was all from one sheet so it's all butted back together nicely with no discernible edges.

HPI are just as cheap :p

It's great to see that the HPI v Traxxas rivalry hasn't died down since the Savage v Revo days hehe.
