Do these actually make a big difference?

Depends on your headphones and existing amplification.

For me with my Goldring NS1000 the sound was quite poor coming directly out of my Asus Xonar DX soundcard mainly because the NS1000s have a relatively high impedance. With the E5 the sound was more powerful. I've since replaced it with a mains powered CMoy and it's even better though. For portable use the E5 is quite handy.

Were you around Catterick last Thursday?

We had a brewdog beer & food matching night last thursday in Northallerton, you'd have loved it, 6 courses, beers were as follows..

Trashy blonde - (served with mussels cooked in trashy blonde)
5am Saint - served with haggis, neeps and tatties
'77 lager - with home made aberdeen angus burger with Lanark blue cheese
Punk IPA - with raspberry cranachan
Tokyo porter - with a scottish cheeseboard with oatcakes

Then we sampled a barley wine at 18.2% i think (can't remember name of it though, was it the alice porter?)

Then last but by no means least, we sampled the Tactical nuclear penguin, 32% abv and about £20 for a 330 ml bottle

I think you'd have loved it.

Argh! Where was this at mate...I am from Northallerton, well I was until I moved to nearby town Bedale. Would have loved that night!!!!

I bought these last month but someone asked about good tasting protein, 100% ON Whey is the best protein imo, especially chocolate/vanilla. If you buy the big 10lb bag it`s even cheaper. Oats you can buy cheap for Sainsbury`s

Not so much bought but it was certainly received in November. (Bloody ordered the thing at the begining of the year and despite the huge long lead time it was still delayed  )
