Pics of stuff we bought in November!

Yeah they are raved on about a lot the jellyfish lamps, and i seen the lava lamp on the webby too and i'd be a fool not to indulge so went ahead! :P

@Psycho Sonny, I remember when you argued to me that i brought beverages in cans instead of bottles, once explaining in a quite civil way why. You didn't reply again. You do not need to post here with negative comments, I brought this for £85 yes. You seem to go on at people a lot if they don't spend their weekly wages in pound stretchers. Everyone has a right to opinions, but being very opinionated how one spends money isn't non of your business.

Can't wait to get these in the post though and get them set up, no doubt leccy bill go up though haha.

Noooo lava lamps are so retro and retro is definitely moving out of being cool, with retro t shirt prints being seriously uncool IMO.

i just thought its a bit much for a multi coloured lamp.

does it actually do anything special or just change colour?

I hate myself, but I'm with Sonny. £85 for a multicoloured lamp, that doesn't look good, seems excessive. But if you like it, that's all that matters.

Haven't bought anything cool this month, just a lot of hangovers!

But then on the other hand i could flip it around, and say I bet most of your hang overs cost a lot of money. That money being spent on expensive drinks at a club where they use the cheapest liqueurs where I can go online and buy 70cl bottle of Absolut for £14-15 and that makes me 28-30 shot measures. These days cocktails are £7-8 each with a jug of ice also.

I don't pry on that or think it's too much, people enjoy binge drinking at clubs. I've been through that myself but no longer club really.

But as you rightly say, if you like it... thats all the matters. It's more than just a "lamp" that oooh 'changes colours' but really, i'll be honest, i cba to explain :p

Very true I guess. It's odd, I'll go out and happily spend £60+ on a night out but I'm tight when it comes to buying stuff for my home. I wouldn't buy a £60 table, let alone a lamp even though it would undoubtedly be a much better use than x amounts of vodkas.

I avoided alcohol for about 3 days last month, so you are not alone :o

It's not my fault! These things just happen eh? I blame pieplough for getting me drunk on Tuesday anyway. I had to knock back all those ales because of his awful patter :p.

Uh oh.

Me to the florist: "Can you make me a bunch of happy flowers please?"

£25 later and Viola! (Do these look happy to you?) lol
