Plus a whole central heating system. It was something I've been planning on doing for a while but when my old boiler started spewing carbon monoxide it just had to be done. And if anyone doesn't have a CO alarm definitely make it one of your November purchases.

And this;

Will be rooted in to the walls when I re fit my front room. But first I have to convert my 2/3 of my garage into an office.

And looking at the quality of these photos I'm going to have to get a phone with a better camera.

Bought myself some good ole spinal surgery. A lumbar dissectomy and then the tablets to help deal with it :P

They say I'll be walking like a champ again in 8-10 weeks :D Not to mention be able to bend forward and backwards by then ( hopefully ) :D

This is over is eight days after I went into the hospital.

My weekly tablets, with a repeat presciption slowly lowering the strength.
The lyrica alone was €145 :'(

How much is the Arcoxia? I'm on that, and it's free. :D

Mark, medicines in Ireland are stupidly expensive. I had forgotten my anti-inflamatories when I went to Dublin and popped into a chemist to buy some co-codomal or something like that. £8, for something that costs about £1 here. Madness. My Irish friend said all medicines were expensive, and then there's the Dublin tax.

You have to "burn in" headphones? The hell does that mean? (As you may have gathered, I know nothing about headphones...)

you dont usually need to burn them in, but in this case you do.

they sound 10 times better when burnt in, basically you just use them for over 20-100 hours, playing music non stop, you dont need to wear them to burn them in, just buy them, plug them in, select a variety of different tracks, so all frequencies are used then just leave them to play for how many hours you want.

i suggest a day minimum.

i have hd25-1 ii's and i never bothered burning them in, as burning them in only makes like a 5% difference, burning the above headphones makes a HUGE difference.

Does it losen up the speakers or something like that and allows them to flex more and pump out a higher range of frequencies?
I'm needing some new gaming headphones, so don't really think that these are suitable, but it's interesting. I don't listen to music on the go at all.

i think it effects different speakers/headphones in different ways, some have zero effect some have a huge effect, therefore burning in is not needed on a lot of stuff.

i just added the burning in part, because people will no doubt buy them and then think, these sound crap, so i said they sound crap out the box and need to be burnt in.

i dont think any gaming headsets need to be burnt in, they aren't high quality cans, they are a tool for a job, you usually only burn in high end stuff.

It makes a difference but in reality a nominal one, one that you'll be hard pressed to tell in a double blind test.

have you looked at the head fi thread mate? apparently these things are meant to be simply amazing, on par with headsets worth up to 5-10 times the price.

basically the bees knees. a lot of people have sold their high end headphones after getting these, they were that good.
