i dont, i have sennheiser hd25-1 ii's (£140), but im tempted to try these out as they will actually be just as good but a more bassier option.

the bass on these is supposed to be amazing (if you dont like bass you can turn down using an equaliser on your source).

so im thinking of buying a set for my brother, since i already own some high end headphones, i dont really need another set, but at less than £30 it's hard to say no, that is how good these things are supposed to be.

read the head fi thread, some guys have went and bough 3 pairs of these, they are that good, they can be modded to sound better as well as addition of velour pads, etc.

i dont know, ive been trying to convince myself i need them, but i really dont, i already have hd25's, if i didnt have my £140 headphones i would have bought these in a heartbeat.

i have plenty of expensive things, £600 suits, £300 jackets, £1500 tv's, etc. imo those things are worth spending extra on, an £85 lamp which changes colour is just a fancy gimmick imo, if your happy with it fair enough, but are you actually going to sit there and use it?

also to the people buying those £20+ lightbulbs, they arent bright enough to light up a normal room for normal use, maybe good to use for a halloween party or something, but i dont see the point in having a lightbulb which is dull and changes colour, another gimmick.

seriously im amazed at the amount of crap imo people buy every month.

Hehe, we have such a personality clash it's amazing someone hasn't got the pitch forks out yet. Yes I misused brought, instead of bought. Sorry about that. Fyi, it's "if you're happy with it", I mean we can rebound at each other all day.

Wait, what. Next time I buy a £5k watch like you, I'll make sure to waste a tip on the post man of £500 ;)

None of those things are worth what you paid for them by the way.

this thread certainly is interesting, like i said imo people buy a lot of crap, which is gimmicky, stuff imo they will probably never use on a regular basis, seriously the whole £20 colour changing lightbulb is cool if your 15 years old, i havent told anyone not to spend money on whatever they bought, just saying what they bought imo is crap.

metalfacemark posted a hdd enclosure which was a couple of quid, imo that is money very well spent, something he will obviously use on a regular basis and for a few quid a complete bargain, something i might buy myself, the whole £20 colour changing dull bulb though is a completely different story. it's tacky and cheap, will make your room look terrible.
 
Sonny, I wish you never linked to that hotdeals website. I've never really browsed it. I just ended up buying a copy of War and Peace purely to tell girls with glasses that I own a copy of War and Peace...

So these will be on par or better than my Senheiser HD555's? Mine are getting a bit tattered now after 4 or so years of daily use. I was thinking of just getting some more as they are comfy and sound great.
