I'll keep an eye out for any Islay's in sherry then and snap a bottle up and report back.
I wasn't that impressed with the Three Wood. It was drinkable, and something I would drink, but not outstanding. It split the room pretty evenly. 16th of June is the date, 12 - 8.
Going to a bourbon tasting night tonight. I like a bit of bourbon now and then, though not terribly well versed in it. The following are being tasted:
Georgia Moon Corn Whiskey
Old Fitzgerald 12
Wild Turkey Rye
Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage
Rowan's Creek
Evan Williams 23
Not sure if I'll buy a bottle though, as planning on getting the Signature tomorrow. Might be an expensive whisk[e]y couple of days! It should be a good night though, and again it's only £15 with 10% off any bottle tried. Saying the 23 year old sells for £115 a bottle, it's a cracking price (as usual).
This conversation should probably have been in the whisky thread.![RedFace :o :o](/styles/default/xenforo/vbSmilies/Normal/redface.gif)
Enjoy your night, looks like it should be a good one!
