Planet Coaster

Can you create coasters that kill everyone? Or has it got some 'nanny protection' in there where it won't let you do this? I know that's not the point of the game lol, I was just wondering.

How good is the business management part of the game? Thinking about grabbing this whilst it's on sale.

It's ok, pretty basic, not to much depth to it. I think I read somewhere they are looking at improving that aspect in the future.

Still can't pop balloons that peeps are carrying though, until that point, im out :)

Anyone achieved the 200mph coaster? managed 151 mph with maximum climb of a hypercoaster on the 'Monolaith' map and straight down into the hole

My first coaster, be nice D:

Any recommendations?

Ps. sorry about the ****** quality, stuck playing it on my 970m laptop

Wow!
If i was wearing VR headset I would be clearly on the floor atm, while suffering from light vertigo by watching the video.

which means, GOOD one mate, amazing work :D

Btw for those missed what happens when Planet Coaster meets Star Wars

Really want to pick this up but it seems a bit steep at £30 as it still seems to be missing a lot of features, pity i didn't have a gaming PC when it was one sale :(

i think ill hold back for now but its on my watch list.

I picked it up just after Christmas in the Sale for £25. I've already put 65 hours into it and absolutely love it. Well worth the money.

The Steam works adds another dimension. Anyone seen the Limbo ride - fantastic creativity.

Its a good game, sure its not 100% complete, but the devs have already stated the next patch and its got a lot of content and fixes incoming. The biggest issue is the business side which is lacking, but everything else is spot on.

I paid full price and dont regret it, its such a good way to unwind and chill.

Played this a lot yesterday, damn does this thing bring my system to a halt with big parks!

Looks like it might be time to upgrade the CPU!

How do you check your fps in planet coaster?

I get 60fps in a empty park/field when you first start the game, on medium this is on a i5 4460, gtx 970, 1600mhz ddr3 ram (i think it is ddr3) @ 2560x1440.

I wish i went for a 27 inch monitor instead of 25 inch, the decals are too small, i need to use a magnifying glass to see what i click.

I think they'll focus on optimisation eventually, I got a refund on steam as it's painful getting turd fps with a good rig once you have a decent park going.

You can change that with a setting somewhere in the game. I had this on my monitor.

My PC also struggles a bit with a big Park. i5, gtx 970, 8g ram.
