I think Sam Neil was really good in the New Zealand documentary recently, definitely worth a punt.

The only worry I have is they seem to have added a few of those "staged" scenes into it (the lima and the glowing plants). While great they aren't truly "natural" and always look a bit odd.
 
Watching that trailer gave me goose bumps! The music is perfect and even sounded awesome coming out of my crapy laptop speakers!
Can't wait to view this one :)

Just think of all the technology upgrades enabling them more advances on filming. Going to be truly beautiful.

Edit: Apparently Sigourney Weaver narrated the US version of the original series. Definitely be sure to pick up the UK if it's still the same.

Just a heads up, this starts tonight at 8pm on BBC One :cool:

Absolutely loved the first and the filmography looks better than ever (if that was possible). I'm surprised there wasn't a bump!
 
Just watching this; am i the only ine thinking a lot of the scenes look like CGI? Has technology progressed that far that now reality looks computer generated? :p
 
This is stunning. Had high expectations and they've been surpassed.

That snake-run is truly horrific
