with logitechs cant you just rebind the mouse buttons to keybinds...eg mouse 2 -> kp forward or whatever?

i can on my mx510 anyway hehe

just installed gone the purple guys

was the red team last time i pld it, yet to see a single player tho, thought it would be full being its free

I dont think that works on the MX700 as the software u need is not compatible with this mouse coz ive tried before ,im getting a razor copperhead next week so maybe i can fix the problem then

It was only released yesterday and has had no advertisment from SOE's side. It has been all community based work, which is a little sad but i'm willing to put the effort in to save the game.
Purple/Teal = Vanu
Red/Blac = TE
Blue/Yellow = NC

HELP

I get a error saying - CONTROL POWER MANAGEMENT? Wtf? All my other games work?

Go to Control Panel -> Performance and Maintanance > Power Options. On the drop-down under "Power schemes" select "Always On".

What are you supposed to do? Quite a difficult question as there is no "aim" in Planetside other than to capture more bases than your enemy. I guess World Domination is the overall goal however you get nothing in return for achieving this. Kind of makes it a mute point.

However, i think you were more asking about personal objectives. I guess your goal for now is to learn the game mechanics! Make sure you complete the training missions, they may seem really boring but they will help. Players have such an edge over you at the moment with years of experience that it can seem a little daunting to fight them, afterall they have all their cert points so have a much more diverse choice of weapons.

If you aren't keen on doing the training missions, i would suggest going to a certification terminal (yes, definately do that mission!) and pick whatever takes you fancy really. I'm under the impression that you start with some basic load outs with certifications already done for you. So, if you just want to get straight into the battle type "/ia" in the chat box.

Ok i fixed my keybinds and im currently playing as 'c5a' in the euro server,think i joined the VS sect ,so now im just plodding around trying to figure out what to do lol

When you start press M and you will get the map. On the Global map look for a continent that has fighting and has some of your teams bases on and also a warp gate. Fly into a warpgate and select where you want to come out.

Then bail from your vehicle onto a tower, run inside down the staris slaughtering them with your HA as you go. Get medic and engy to heal yourslef and AV so you can get a decimator for MAX units.

You won't be able to get many certs, but with limited certs you should really go for aircraft or a MAX.

I have an MX700 and it works fine. I have the thumb button for my implants and 3rd person. I don't use the Logitch Drivers though.

ive played it before loved it for 6 months but the population got far too low, may have another go though

That's the idea of this little SOE scheme! Boost the playerbase some. The last time they tried to get more people into the game, it was far too unfriendly to players. Now they've improved it considerably, if that gives any indication as to how bad it was!

There's an 'instant action' option that will teleport you straight into the middle of a battle. Been a while since I played, can't remember where the option is. Also the map shows sites where battles are going on, just go to the HART building on your home base and drop-pod onto one.

Also be sure to join Werner, it's the euro server.
