Are your balls like oranges in a net sack or something? Crikey! If they were tight there'd have probably been less rubbing. I wish i'd worn my base layer shorts.
The wife actually offered me some of her knickers to help hold my balls in and stop them rubbing. I declined!

I went for my first run in a long while since hurting my knee about 6 weeks ago and it was no good today either. Only ran 7km and I was hobbling by the end. It’s the lateral and medial ligaments on my left knee. Does anyone have a similar experience and how they resolved it, through exercises or similar?
Thanks! I’ll give the hopping a go for a while. I had been doing some lunges and squats too but I should probably lay off the weights a bit too.Obviously hard to say exactly but I get some pain in my left knee. I find really trying to massage and stretch my quads to make a big difference.
Also opening up your hip flexors seems to help although I’m less sure of the reasons!
Maybe some strength work too? Just stand/hop on one leg to strengthen the knee.

Came out above my target and hit 43 miles which at time of submission was good for 195th. Taking my rest day yesterday and I'm back down to 403 after todays run, but it all depends on when people submit their millage as you can do it as and when you feel like it. Out of 3500 runner I'm happy with that and wonder how it'll unfold as the weeks start to pass. December finish should be possible, maybe even late November. The leaders are out of this world though, 1st is on 208 and even 10th is 111 miles, not unexpected really that this type of event attracts the ultra runners.
