I'm actually struggling to find AR's at the minute. Last 3 games only ones I've gotten have come off killing someone with a shotty and looting their body. That said I'm on the NA server and it used to be daft the amount of loot you'd find so they may have stealth nerfed NA.

When you use boosters (Energy Drinks and Painkillers) you will be greeted by a bar in the bottom middle of your screen.

Painkillers will boost your bar by 60 energy, Energy drink (40 energy). They both heal you above the 75% mark.

This bar is split into thirds and I believe the buffs are as follows.

  • The first buff you will gain health over time.
  • The second buff gives less spread.
  • The third buff gives more running speed.

Always a good idea to pop those boosters near the end of the game or when you are expecting to get into a fight. Trying to get to the safe zone but still have ways to go? Pop that pain killer or couple of energy drinks so you can move a little faster.

Just hit my highest position, top 11. Which was pretty good considering i just played with the sound off... Lol! The circle closed on a few buildings and i knew guys would be in there so i gungho'd it. Needless to say the guy hiding in the corner got more shots off than me. Plus i don't even think i had a vest?!

Loving this at the moment. Think im on 4 solo wins 3 duo and 4 team and in solo 25% of the time i finish in the top 10.

I tend to favour less populated areas when jumping or hitting the edge of a town quick and gtfoing.

Water town is my spiritual home though as drops are half reasonable. Not a massive amount of people drop there and its fairly central to ensure not far to run.

I see now why hardcore mode is still a way off. Many inconsistencies.

LOTS of work needed but my worry is the game will stay in that "middle ground" although at present, it is difficult to argue it is half way to being realistic.

Yes, it is early access but some of the things highlighted in that video are simple design choices set early in development.
