Hope it was just my cpu fan, just drove to the middle in last 15. Jumped out and died as it was a moving vehicle

Are these 'community streamers' playing on customised servers?? They are only taking a fraction of health damage from some of those falls/jumps??
The servers are really awful today, especially at the start of a match. They desperately need to sort them out, whether you get a good game on EU is hit and miss. Plus im playing like an idiot which only adds to my frustration. Running from footsteps close and getting shot in the back, deciding to change my scoping settings so missing every shot up close, changing guns when im heading for a tree as a car is trying to run me down! Slows you down nicely that does. Gahhh, this game.

Same as the live tournament they streamed a few weeks back - spotted that even in the final stages of a game they were able to stay in the blue zone for ages with very little health damage occurring. bit of a cheap tactic to be honest, people buying the game off the back of these streams are in for a shock when they jump off a building like the streamers do and suddenly find 3/4's of their heal is gone - or try playing the game in the final stages in the blue zone - you've about 15-30 seconds from full health to game over!!

Its partly what sells games though mate, although this didn't really need it as it did so well of its own back. CBA watching through all the squealing thats going on there.

95% of those clips are on the live servers
oh of course - but if you bought a game of the back of some of those vids, you are in for a big shock.
none of the clips where they fell/jumped off buildings and only lost a smidge of health are on live servers. that was my point. I'd probably contest your 95% thought but with no way to prove/disporve it I won't. I've long believed a lot of these 'community streamers' - not just for this game - are not playing with the same rule set that the general public have to play with.
lets be honest it would make a lot of the clips above a lot less fun, jump shots off a roof where you land, die and have to restart into a lobby aren't gonna get the views the streamers want now are they.
I'm not knocking it btw I just think they should be prefixed with disclaimer - 'please note these are being played on closed/test servers'
oh and this is why the test servers are so much fun and easier. full of wannabe streamers trying to get their 'cool' videos - so many 'player died to falling' notifications!

Then again I've also 'fallen' whilst running down a hill and lost half my health A friend was downed by crawling into a piece of scenery also (player died by falling)... inconsistent at best

Christ maybe I'm just made of glass then. I jump off a 2 storey building and I'm losing a chunk of health!!
If you jump from the second floor (one above the ground), you're usually ok but if you are jumping off of the roof of the second floor, pain ensues.

Not played for a week or so so might be remembering incorrectly but pretty sure I only lose a little health, might be thinking of shorter buildings or something.
Often jump from first floor balconies without damage though which makes me think the little damage jumps must be the roof

I watch a lot of the streamers in the video. They always just queue up for games like you and I. The jumping shotgun shots are definitely on the live servers. I take the same amount of damage as they do when they do those types of jumps. You only take huge damage if you jump off the flats/apartments, 4+ stories. Any 2 story building (like in the clips) you only take 10-15% damage.
Some streamers host custom games on occasion, but their viewership drops when they do this. People want to watch wins in matchmaking.
They get more funny and interesting clips because they play a hell of a lot more than we do.
ah maybe they have changed the fall damage then. I know I stopped jumping from 2nd floor roofs as I was losing at least 50% health, i'll have to try it again - if I die I'm blaming you and these ****tard streamers!
